  1. And now after 5 days we have a date for the oath ceremony . November 15th .
  2. Sorry I didn’t post earlier the outcome . She is a citizen now just waiting for a date for the swear in ceremony. She was very nervous going in . Watching a lot of YouTube civic test. She got 6 questions answered correctly and didn’t need much else but verifying her info . Got there at 10:45am at the Tucson USCIS and was sitting for maybe 10 minutes then another 15 and she was done. Next wait for ceremony date. Most likely on a Friday . Too bad she won’t be able to vote this year but I did tell her she might be able to vote in the school board soon. Glad it is over . We talked to her Daughter in Nigeria . She was so happy , screaming and crying at the same time . I couldn’t even get a word in to her. lol .
  3. Waiting on the wife to finish up in her interview. Right now .
  4. Congragulattions ! My wife will be doing her interview on October 10 . Unfortunately she will miss registering to vote here .
  5. Wife is so nervous about the interview in 19 days . She has been doing the civic test and answers . Her only issue she thinks sh might have is the written test. Using her iPad and pencil to write them down . I think she will have no problems . I have been sending her questions . She gets them . Still think she might have her oath ceremony at the Pima Air Muesum in Tucson November 8 . Very busy weekend for me then . Leading the annual Tucson Veterans parade on the 11th and I am a member of the SAR we used to come to the oath ceremony dressed in our Revolutionary army Gear . Greet the new citizens and always was asked for a photo with them . Unfortunately we are not allowed to do it anymore. Was a highlight of our color guard . Maybe the judges will let us do it again . But anyway .
  6. August 31 2020 So she is at 4 years .Her ROC was approved last month. So she will be okay . She wasn't expecting the interview to come up so fast.
  7. She applied on the 30th of July this year , and finger prints were waived about the 6th of August .
  8. Wow my wife got an interview date today. It has only been since the first few days of the month since they started checking it. Biometrics was reused too. So Oct 10. Might mean she could be doing the oath ceremony on Veterans Day. Just thinking about it lol
  9. My wife applied for her citizenship last month but was accepted this month. We used Rapid Visa to file the N400. So it was accepted in the Phoenix lockbox or the Tucson office . Hoping for a smooth and fast wait . lol but we know how that is!
  10. After 2 long years my wife finally has been approved for her ROC with out an interview. Started her N400 last week .
  11. OldUser yes she understands that. It is just frustrating . She has been doing the civics test online . She wants more practice before she does it . I am trying to help her .
  12. Well Still waiting for our ROC. Wife wants to wait to file the N-400 next year . And just checked the processing times on the USCIS site. It says 29.5 months moving along normal. The earliest you can submit questions is October 17, 2025. Boy this sucks. guess she will. file the N400 before she can ask questions?
  13. Wow congrats . Hope my wife gets hers soon after we file for the N-400 in June.
  14. We used Boundless to file her I-485 and I-765 . They were a real help. they filed our packet professionally. Printed it and sent it to us for proof it . And talked us threw everything . talked to their lawyer about questions we had . They calmed our nerves . And the interview went perfect . We reccomend them so much.

    RapidVisa

Rapid Visa worked for us too . We used them for her ROC. Very good filing and help with submitting the proper documents.
