  1. Got approval notification on the app on 1st Nov. Received the new SSN today. Case shows as approved, approval in docs folder, but when you go and check the timeline it still says 1 week until decision…weird. I wonder how long it will take to receive hard copy of approval notice and have the GC card produced. Case received: 7th Feb Biometrics: 8th March Approval: 1st Nov No interview. Hartford field office.
  2. Same here…I keep seeing people from March through May being approved
  3. I received mine a couple days after I saw the combo approval in my docs tab, however, I never received the approval letter itself or had the card produced and it’s been 6 weeks. I believe there wouldn’t be an issue with the SSN as long as she has the marriage certificate and one of the NOA2 to prove that she has applied, got approved but still waiting on the updated SSN. It’s worth the try.
  4. It won.t be a problem. I did the same and they issues me a new one with the updated name. The number remains the same.
  5. Hi all, I’m a February filer but I’ve been following your tread for a while. I found my combo approval in the docs tab on 25th April, status never changed and still remains as actively reviewed. 1 month later there’s still no card produced. What’s even weirder is that I never even received a hard copy of the approval letter…Anyone in the same boat?
  6. Did you ever receive the approval letter in the mail? it's now over 3 weeks since approval and I haven't received a hard copy of the approval or the had the card produced...
  7. Did your case status update or you found that in your USCIS profile?
  8. Officially 13days since combo approval and still no card issued…
  9. We got an approval too! The status still hasn’t changed, however, when I checked today I saw the approval for the combo card dated 25th Apr. Hopefully, it will be produced soon!
  10. Same here. Approaching 1 month since biometrics (8th Mar) and still no news.
  11. I brought the original with me, they had a look at it, filled in my information on a separate sheet, and then gave it back to me.
  12. It went very well. I showed up 30mins early and they let me in. I brought the biometrics appointment notice (filled in the 2nd page at home), my passport, and the marriage certificate. They let my husband in with me to wait until I got called. Had my photo and all my fingerprints taken. I was in and out in no more than 10mins. Case status immediately changed to being actively reviewed.
  13. I asked the agent for the date, time and location of my appointment but they only gave me the date. I received all NOA1s, the access code and the bio appointment letter today.
  14. Hi all Feb filers! Here’s our timeline so far: Submitted 2nd Feb Delivered 7th Feb NOA1 7th Feb Case number received 12th Feb Case changed to biometrics scheduled 13th Feb Biometrics appointment 8th Mar (obtained via Emma) Still waiting to get the NOA1 and access codes via mail.
  15. Have you received any instructions from the embassy since your case was transferred from NVC? I believe that if you have received any communication from them then you are good to go ahead.
  16. Just passed the interview! I was first called by a Bulgarian officer who pulled out our I-129F and collected all the necessary docs that I brought with me. He asked me several questions about whether I've been in the US before, how I met my SO, and what he does for work. Then I had to wait for the interviewer to free up and start with the actual interview. The interview took somewhere between 5-10mins, she asked me the same stuff as the guy before her as well as questions about my time in the UK, the proposal and why on earth him out of all men around the globe. Good luck to everyone!
  17. Got the medical done yesterday. Make sure to request a copy of your vaccination history from the clinic as you will need it later on when readjusting your status. Interview upcoming next week.
  18. You should wait for your embassy to receive the documents and then send you instructions. You can start gathering your docs tho
  19. Our case was received and we even got the instructions from the embassy via email. Currently working on gathering the last bits of docs and filling in the DS160 as to schedule an interview and medical.
  20. Make sure to input the original case number and not the Julian equivalent that you use to determine the case creation date. Also you have to select immigrant visa (https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV). If that still does not work try through the USCIS app tracker just make sure you select NVC when you are adding your case.
  21. We are In Transit since yesterday too! Any estimates on how long it usually takes for the docs to reach to local embassies?
  22. We got our case number after the second inquiry. No special instructions received with the email besides that we will be notified once it is forwarded to the embassy. NOA2: 6th July 1st inquiry: 5th Aug Case received: 10th Aug 2nd inquiry: 21st Aug NVC case number: 25th Aug
  23. It’s not a mistake as the majority of people who inquiry for a first time get the same response. USCIS sends our cases to NVC pretty quickly but then NVC takes a great deal of time to assign a case number, hence, the estimated 90-day wait time
  24. I sent an inquiry on the 5th of Aug as it was exactly 30 days since NOA2 (6th of July). Got a response yesterday that the case has been recently received but has not been assigned a case number yet.
  25. It has been giving me this error for the last week. I usually force-stop the app and re-open it and just keep trying until it works.
