    You can actually obtain cases based on your case number. Just count up and down around your number you can find a lot of cases.

    I read somewhere that the system updates automatically at 2AM Eastern Time. I believe government officers don't work on Saturday so when people see on Saturday, it is the result of their work on Friday. I know people knowing the results on Sat but Sun so I believe in these observation and speculation unless hearing a different case. I do love to see more statistics from people on this though. I have never experienced these myself.

    Yes. I also meant to buy some time until the waiver is issued so you don't leave the country. If it is not issued, you cannot have h1b activated anyway. And if it is issue, with the initial o1 of 3 years, you can apply for a gc instead of going through h1b. Premium processing for o1 only takes 2 weeks to know the result. Preparation takes more time and you have to be in hurry for that. Hopefully your profile is very strong to minimize that time. Good luck.
