NVC will send you an email when they send your case to the embassy. They don't send out any physical letter. All you can do now is wait.

email Yes, we had exactly the same. At first, the status changed to "ready" while the documents were still on the way. After 1.5-2 weeks, the status update happened again, but only the date changed... Then, a few days later, the same thing happened again - only the date was updated again. And a few days later they sent me an email with instructions.

We have been waiting for almost a month. At this time, several times there was a status update on the ceac website, which consisted only of changing the “last update” date and nothing else. In short, on March 17 the status was ready, on April 12 a letter came from them.

Today I finally received a letter from the embassy, which included recommendations for making an appointment for an interview, addresses of medical centers where you can get a medical examination, and there was also an information brochure about domestic violence. Now can fill out the DS-160, pay the fees, and schedule the interview. One plus step closer to the goal! 💪🥳🍾

Yes, they don't send any welcome email. They send a notification to the petitioner that they sent the case to the embassy, the same notification contains the nvc case number and the beneficiary's Id.
