Whomever is working on Augist 11 must be out of the office or working slow. All the k-1's that I can find marked received that day havent been touched. I'm not sure if that gives me comfort or concern just yet.

Loved your story. We have some red flags as well (age diff, previous marriages, background checks) that I believe are not going to be too challenging but you really never know how the officer will respond or what they will do. To us it all seems easy to explain because we lived the story, to them it might sound crazy or suspicious. Since my fiancé and I have known each other since 2017 so we have loads of evidence, photos, tickets, passport stamps, etc and sent some of that data along with our original application but again...you never know what will happen. Thanks for sharing your encouraging experience. LDR's are hard and they put an unnerving amount of stress on couples who only want to join their lives. Inspirational stories like this popping up from time to time amongst the challenging ones does help to life the spirits.

I did live scan and got my results in 24 hours. ...been using them for years for different reasons. Also fast results and less than 100 bucks.

Hey is it me or are the estimates getting shorter? I believe that most of the ones I was seeing were originally Dec, then Nov, then Oct and now Sept ....anyone else seeing a happy trend here?

I am not by any means an expert and maybe you already have your answer but that doesnt sound like something you need to send in a correction for. Some of the more experienced people can jump in and clarify if I am wrong.

I have been reading through the financial requirements and while I am feeling confident that I wouldn't be impacted it occurred to me to ask. When they are calculating your finances and ability to take care of your foreign fiancé are debts like mortgages, credit cards bills, etc counted as well? Those things change disposable income and ability to take care of dependents no?
