I’m having issues too and I don’t have an answer for you. I called the embassy last Friday and told them I was ready for the interview, but there are no appointments available. The lady I spoke to said they’d make a note and send me an email once appointments open up. Might be good if your fiancé reaches out to them and thereby showing them there’s demand! (If he hasn’t already, of course). I’m just speculating, but maybe they’ll open up for more appointments come July. Or at least I hope they do.

Hi everyone, Yesterday, me and my fiancé finally heard back from the NVC after waiting more than 80 days for a case number. However, the email included instructions for Spousal visa applicants, and not K1. I have seen a lot of mistakes made by the NVC (or the USCIS) in people's posts, but I haven't seen this happen to anyone before. In short, the email asks us to log in to the CEAC website and pay the Affidavit of Support fee, which K1 applicants are not supposed to do. I've already sent an email to NVCresearch to ask if this was a mistake on their part since we are K1 applicants. I also called the embassy in Sweden to see if they could help, but they couldn't since the case is still at the NVC. Anyway, I guess my real question here is if someone else has been through this, what happened, and how was it resolved? Any insight on the matter would be much appreciated.
