  1. I was expecting my toddler’s green card and I got a letter for his biometrics appointment instead but he is only 2 years old. When we went to ciudad Juarez for his fingerprints I was told he didn’t need them . I thought I could go to the post office with his temporary I-551 stamp on his passport and my naturalization certificate so he can get his US passport. In ciudad Juarez they took his digital picture.

  5. Section 320 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA 320) provides that children acquire U.S. citizenship if they satisfy certain requirements before age 18 which include: Have at least one U.S. citizen parent by birth or naturalization Be admitted to the United States as an immigrant for lawful permanent residence After admission to the United States, reside in the country in the legal and physical custody of a U.S. citizen parent
  6. Please I need help. My 2 years old son received his I-551 stamp on his passport. I was told once he enters to the US he will become an US citizen according to the child act 2000.. Do I still need to pay for his immigrant visa fee so he can receive his green card . I became an Us citizen right after he was born. Thank you everyone .
  7. My wife doesn’t know her old passport number so we cat find the traveling record
  8. My wife had a tourist visa til 2011. She overstayed for 7 years. She had her son here but she decided to go back to Mexico on 2018 . she lost her passport and I94. She already got a new passport and her I130 form and affidavit of support were already approved. My question is if immigration is going to ask her for any documents to proof she came in legally.
  9. She got a new one last year. The point is how to proof she came legally if she doesn’t have her old passport neither her I94. I-94 was on paper back then
  10. Thank you so much. I have one more issue. She lost her old passport and I 94. My wife has had a tourist visa since she was 5 years old because she has lived in Mexicali she used to cross the border pretty much everyday to buy groceries and to visit her grandma who lives in Calexico Ca. What does she needs to do ?
  11. Hi! I’m an us citizen bringing my wife and my 1 year old toddler to USA. Form I130 was approved and also the affidavit of support. Now I’m working on her DS-260 but she overstayed in the US after her visa expired. She got pregnant and stayed for 7 years and then she went back to Mexico. I understand once she left US the 10 year bar starts. She has been living in Mexico for 5 years now. We got married on 2020. At what point do we need to request the waiver? Do we need to wait til she gets her interview in ciudad Juárez or we can start applying for the waiver now. Thank you so much for your support. You guys helped me before with the whole process
  12. I’m petitioning my wife and toddler who live in Mexico. We’re waiting for their I-130 to get approved. She has a teenager who was born in the US. The teenager lives in the US with my wife’s grandma who has a legal power but he is receiving help for the government because he is autistic. Are we going to have any kind of problems because of this? My wife is not receiving any money but her grandma. Please let me know. Thank you everybody
