  1. Damn its only been updated once? I would contact your State Congressman Representative or Senator to inquire to ensure they have full control over what's going on. Its not uncommon for government entities to make mistakes (for any country for that matter) My case just got Updated again today and now its Case Last Updated as of 24MAY2023. I hope yours gets an update soon. Let me know what you find out if you try that option.
  2. Greetings, did you guys get administrative processing?

  3. Please update your timeline to help others out. And not to my knowledge
  4. Hey man just coming back to check on you and fill you in, the CEAC Website just updated for us. This is either the 3rd or 4th update we have received since getting refused status since the interview. We hear that there is at least 5 updates before getting through for K1's but am unsure how true this holds. But today 22MAY2023 is the last updated date in the CEAC Case Tracker
  5. You can do a change of address online, as far as work is concerned you can bring that with you to the embassy during your interview.
  6. What color slip did you receive with the 221(G) and did you get a DS-5535 with it?

  8. Greetings friend, I am replying because I would also like to know the answer. Also were you told that you were under 221(g) and given a paper slip? If so what color was it? And were you also issued a DS-5535? Thanks
  9. Wait, so you file a Writ of Mandamus without a lawyer? I was under the impression filing one of these on behalf of oneself is complete Visa Suicide / Petition Suicide.

  13. To answer your question. YES! My fiance and I through extensive online research and forums and facebook groups of personal experiences of others found out that different colors of 221g Signify different things. see below: The 221(g) global guide : r/self (reddit.com) Orange/Yellow = Technology Alert List (TAL). This type of security clearance applies mostly to graduate students (sometimes undergraduates) or those employed in a specialty field/industry, if the research or position involves the use of sensitive data (mostly those studying or employed in STEM fields). Estimated wait: 7-31 business days minimum and 32-108 business days maximum. White/Blue = Record ping/Name check. This type of security check applies whether you have a criminal background or not. Your name might have gotten matched to someone with the same or a similar name to yours, so your identity has to be verified. Estimated wait: 8-14 business days minimum but can take as long as 15-90 business days maximum. Green = SEVIS/USCIS related*. This type of security check is required when your data doesn't match what is on the system or contains errors. The errors can either be from bugs or slow updates in the system or human error on the application and can be resolved through verification. Estimated wait: 2-21 business days minimum and 22-42 business days maximum. Pink = Internal Decision. This type of security check is handled by the embassy and is required for verifying information during the interview that was deemed conflicting and involves the completion of a questionnaire/survey to move forward. This case type is typically updated regularly. (It is alleged that familial relations are connected to this type of processing) Estimated time: To be determined. Purple = "Unorthodox". This type of check is given when most of the information provided via application and interview are deemed to be suspicious despite some accuracies. Estimated time: Indefinite.
  14. Hello again, Do you remember the color slip you were given at the embassy? Ours was Green for the 221G and then given a DS5535 via email
  15. Please update your timeline friend. Also how long did it take for ankara to get back to you and what color was your DS5535 slip

  16. Thank you Crazy Cat. To answer your question we refreshed the page everyday up until Friday. Friday was the only day no update was pushed. We thought it meant something but thank you for clarification,
  17. Hello everyone, I wanted to inquire about the status of my fiance's K1 visa application. We recently went through the interview process and unfortunately, we were refused under 221(G). However, the counselor provided my fiance with a DS 5535 form to fill out and the status date has updated three times since the interview on the CEAC website from 08MAY2023, to 09MAY2023, to 10MAY2023 to 11MAY2023. We are wondering if the multiple status updates mean that our case is moving quickly and if we should expect to hear something soon. Additionally, we were given a green slip after the interview which we filled out the first day as opposed to the other colors (Yellow, White, Blue). Has anyone had a similar experience with their K1 visa application? Can anyone offer any insight or advice on what we can expect moving forward? Thank you in advance for any information or support you can provide.
  18. My friend, my fiance and I were also put under Administrative Processing and we are devastated as we both had tickets back to the US together this weekend, what information did they give you based on how long it would take? For us they said 3 months but they will try to expedite it.
