Hello, I am a green card holder and I try to travel every 6 months to the US as my husband lives outside of the US so I spend more of my time with him. Last time I travelled, I was out of the US for 8-9 months and the immigration officer was displeased but I expressed to him my situation and he understood. That was March 30th, 2024. I am travelling to the US on September 28th, 2024. That is just 5 months and 29 days since I travelled to the US. 182 days ago. Do you think I will run into issues if I am travelling exactly on the 6 month mark?

My husband is applying for B2 Visa, I’m a green card resident and he’s applying for that to visit me. How much US should be in his account for the interview?

We are about to submit the visa application for my spouse. However, we’ve reached the part to enter the passport number and in the first attempt we put the wrong letter so now we’re unable to get past the “Sign and Submit” part. It says “The Passport Number entered does not match the Passport Number that you previously entered.” It’s not allowing us to submit it now. Do you know how we can get this to work or who we can reach out to regarding this? We’re not sure what to do now

I am legally changing my name on my ID in my home country and adopting my husband’s name. I will be hyphenating my last name along with his and I was wondering if I would have to update my name on my social security if I am in the process of filing the I-130 for him as a LPR? Or it doesn’t matter since I am hyphenating?
