Our Story
Back in June 2002, my dream came true. I met the love of my life Ron. I don't really believe in finding love over the internet because for me it's just "impossible". At first I just don't understand with some other people falling in love through the square window right in front of you called "computer". I honestly find it ridiculous. I've had my profile posted in the website called asianeuro over a long period of time and met a lof of friends around the world. I love learning different cultures and plus I'm a blogger...nerd! hehe. I've got a lot of ambush emails from guys saying"I like you and I think you are the one for me." Scary huh? it's like picking a toy they like best -- at least that's what I thought:-) Not until Ron send me an email....he's email is wayyyy different from others....well to those guys that wanted to know me betta and not my culture lols. He's a total gentleman and very honest with his words. Nah what am I doing? That's exactly what I asked myself after reading his email. I just leave it alone never bother to emailed him back. After a week or so I opened my asianeuro mailbox and to my surprise his email was still there! What the??! I'm almost 100% I deleted that email and so I read it again "believe it or not" and decided to email him back. I feel like there's something about this guy. The next day he replied and we became good friends:-) Four months emailing each other and talking on the phone almost everyday...I just can't believe that we actually had a lot of in common. We laughed a lot, we cried, we joked....hmmm. We began to missed each other so we decided to meet in person and see how it goes. Last October 2002, he went to visit in my country Philippines. He met my family,relatives and friends. We had a lot of fun together. It feels so right --- wait a minute I'm actually fallen for this guy.AAAHHHH! So does he...phewww!! To make the story short we got engaged. He went back twice in the Philippines before I moved over here in the US. He figured he needs to grant what my dad's wish for me to graduate in college before he swept me away. So we got married last June 18, 2004 the same date we met online. We had a beautiful and very precious little boy born last May 2005. We renewed our vows last June 18,2006 "our second wedding anniversary". Now we live very happily with our precious little boy.
Looking back to how I felt about meeting someone over at the net and falling in love??...hmmm I don't know what happen but I actually did...I actually did! :-) You never know as what others say and we never know what God has planned for each one of us. But I'm sure from the bottom of my heart that God's plan is always for the betterment of his children. We just have to trust him :-)
