Hi, I just finished my appointment with Dr. Zatzman this morning. He was wonderful and everything went pretty quick except for the bloodwork which was a bit of a wait (i highly recommend checking into dynacare labs once you're done your medical, it'll speed up your waiting process at the lab). I did not have an MMR vaccine record but pretty sure i had one when i was a kid (i had all other vaccines and records for them). My GP did a titres test back in 2015 (i had just started seeing him as my primary GP and didn't have much vaccination records so he wanted to check then). i provided that 2015 titres test to Dr. Zatzman and he took that as proof as having vaccine. Also he said that even if i didn't have the Titres test, he would be able to check in my bloodwork if i had the MMR vaccine.

I just got an IL for Aug 16th interview! My DQ date was March 4th. Hope the March folks are getting their IL’s now.

Thank you for the response! . Yeah I was fretting about arranging flights, accommodations and such in a short time. my priority date is 2022 May, so we shall see what that gets me. But 6 weeks would allow me to plan a bit at least.

While we all wait for our IL's, does anyone know if an IL comes in July, when the actual interview might be. I've seen some in the past where the IL and interview are a month apart but earlier this year it seemed at least a month and a half apart or more. If anyone has a rough idea, that would be great. thank you for your help!

I believe it is IR-1, as I’m in the same boat. The NVC portal for me now says IR-1. DQ’d March 4th, has anyone gotten any IL’s for March yet?

I saw in a Reddit post and then subsequently on the mtl embassy site that as of end of last week they are working on IL’s for people DQ’d in March of 2024. So hopefully this week! my DQ was March 4th

Hi everyone , does anyone have any experience with submitting an inquiry if you’ve been Dq’d for more than 3 months. My DQ was March 4th and I know there are people waiting from prior to that date. Curious if anyone has any experience with that ? I saw an inquiry form but it didn’t say if there was a specific time we can submit an inquiry (unlike USCIS has an inquiry form ).

EMR is electronic medical records. Now you need the vaccination records for when you go for your interview, so I don't think you need it to apply for NVC. But if you need your vaccination records, you can go to the site https://www.healthgateway.gov.bc.ca/vaccinecardand fill in information. This should have your Covid vaccination records and if you've gotten other vaccinations in the province of BC in the last 10-15 years, it should be in there. That's said, at the medical exam, I believe the physician will do a tither test, which shows what vaccinations you had and what you still need. You can ask your NP to do the same test and they might do it. Each vaccination requirement is based on your age. (I think you can find information online about it). Again, I'm not a physician, so this isn't medical advice, but I do think the main vaccinations adults need are Tdap, MMR and Covid. If for some reason, you don't have the vaccinations I would still wait for the medical exam and once they tell you what vaccinations you do need, you can get it after at a travel clinic.

I work in the tech healthcare sector and work in BC health care workflow. BC has a mandate that if you request from the primary care physician , they have to provide a document with all your current vaccinations you’ve had since you’ve seen them. You can also request a gp’s affidavit indicating that the gp attests that you’ve had a vaccination if the gp has done a blood test to prove vaccinations. Most BC GP’s have EMR, it’s a quick request. I'm waiting for my il but got proof of vaccination from my GP. Just wanted to be prepared. hope that helps.

In the same boat as we got DQ’d on March 6th and no word yet. Does anyone know on average what the length of time is between getting you IL and the actual interview date? thanks!

So we have created a USCIS account and when you try to send them a message it asks you to choose an option. If you choose the “case status update” option it doesn’t allow you to submit a query. It just says to check the processing time page. There’s really no option to actually contact a human in any sort of way which is quite frustrating.

Hi Everyone, I'm hoping someone can help us with the following question and I'm sorry if its been asked before. I am a Canadian citizen currently waiting for USCIS Approval for the I-130. It's been 17 months since we filed and back in july of 2022 we got a notification saying our "case is being actively worked on". When we got our receipt notice we had two different processing centers. The Receipt notice had Nebraska but we had another one that told us how we can login to the USCIS website and that had a field office of Potomac. We also are working with Lawyers who also told us our Processing center is Nebraska. We assume we were Nebraska and have been patiently waiting. Recently i saw that if the field office is Nebraska, that based on our receipt date we can submit an inquiry for case as it has taken longer than the normal processing time. When we tried to do it, it immediately spit back a response saying , we can't submit an inquiry as it is within normal processing time. Our only guess is that we're now or were always in Potomac. We tried to call the 1800 number to find out that info, but got no where rather than the machine just kept giving the sam response. We also can't use the message function on the USCIS Website as there's no specific option to choose that we can ask a straight forward question. Has anyone had this two processing centers issue happen to them? any ideas on how we can find out the right office. The reason being since it's taken this long and we have had no responses since july of 2022 , we want to submit an inquiry at sometime its just a point of finding the right office.
