  2. Hello mam521 I feel you, I went thru the same thing with one minor kid. I got very frustrated when I could not book any appointment online after trying with all USPS location even 50 miles from where we live. The online appointment booking did not give me the option to schedule an appointment for 2 persons (my minor kid and me). This is my personal experience: I went to one USPS location to ask them if there is any possibility they can help. I was told to come back at a certain time window of a particular date of the week that they accept walk-in (for this location, it's Tuesday every week, from 10AM to 11AM). According to them, an application takes 15 minutes and there were only 2 staff in charge of passport application at the location I went (it also means they only accept 8 walk-in applications), so they advise me to come and get line ASAP because we would take 2 time slots. We did what I was told and submitted everything on 1/31 (still "In process" status). They did take my daughter (expired) green card, fyi. Hope this helps and wish you the best of luck!
  3. HI Crazy Cat I hope you have seen a better update status by now. I applied passport for myself and my minor child at USPS (walk-in) recently as well. 1/31 Applied at USPS 2/6 Application received according to the status website and "In process" since then.

  5. Hi Daria9, It happened the same to me and I asked the people at the ceremony and they said they could not do anything about that. I did not try any other ways. How do you think if you call or go in USCIS local office in person to make that request?
  6. Hi DannyAdelante, May I ask if you were able to make your name change at the oath ceremony? I am in the same situation and I will have my oath ceremony in a couple days. Appreciate your kind response!
  7. Hi annie15, please keep this thread and help share your experience after you submit your application. I am going to apply in 2 weeks and would love to learn your experience. Thank you very much!
  8. @hmmxkrazee I am in the same situation and going to go thru the same process(es). Would you mind share the step-by-step process you finally do for your wife to change her name? Thank you very much!
  9. I had my N-400 and I-751 duo interview /test with USCIS yesterday and got approved. The Aoth ceremony was scheduled for 1/19. The issue is that I wanted to have this done without any delay so when the officer asked if I wanted to change my name, I said no. Now that I found out the process to change name in Arizona may take up to 2 months with several steps, I wonder if there is a way for me to request USCIS to change my name. I would appreciate any input you may have for this matter? Thank you!
