  1. I started a new topic cause im not sure of where to put it. So for the moderators feel free to move it if necessarygrandfather passed My current status is NOA1 May filer an the ISCIS is currently working the May files an starting the June 2022 filers. An i had a few questions concerning how to go about getting my step kids to the US... 1- I have 3 step kids one is is going to be 19 an she is attending the University here in Thailand so she has decided to stay here in Bangkok. I have one who is 12 an she will be going with us when we leave and will be attending the interview with my fiance. I have one that is 10 who will be staying behind and following us with in the year (maybe) cause he is currently staying with his grandfather. An all 3 are on our I-129F form because the original intent was to bring them all home at the same time.. A. So my question is do i have to file a DS-160 for my 19yro step daughter who is on the I-129F but staying behind to attend collage in Bangkok? She will not be coming until after graduation.. B. Do i have to file a DS-160 for my 10yro step son who will be following us with in a year an does he have to attend the interview with my fiancé? C. If for some reason my step son doesn't follow us within the 1 year period what happens to his status? (This might happen if my fiancé decides to let him stay here with his grandfather who is 75 D. If my 10yro step son's status does change do i have to file a I-130 (im assuming)...? E. Will or can the process (I-130) be expedited because he is a minor who if he is still here will have nobody to care for him except his older sister..? This would mean his grandfather would have passed..
  2. I understand exactly how you feel. Were May 11th and for some reason the pre 9th thru the 12th fillers seem to hav been barley touched. When i or my fiancé check for some news 1st thing in the morning (here in BKK ) were just frustrated/floored with the lack of progress for our group numbers... We keep trying to apply some kind of logic to a process that, Seems to have no logic at all 1,2,3,4,5 that makes sense to us... . Were happy for the people who have been approved but i do know we get more an more confused with the process every time we see a latter date approval.. i can only imagine how some of the earlier month filers feel seeing our month of May get the attention its getting.. on a positive note i know that at least were (our group) is getting narrowed down in numbers so thinking sometime between now an 1st week of July.. 🙏🙏 We were so excited an hopeful when they started our month an our excitement is still there just with a little frustation added.. 😀 we'v all waited so long to get this journey going now their is some light at the end of the tunnel so for me im trying to keep my eagerness in check an wait my turn.. doesn't work all the time.. lord knows it doesn't... but i try.. so stay positive brother, sounds easy, we all here know that.... just know its coming sooner than later..
  3. Thanks for the advise an yes i'll just be patient as ever an i will enjoy the time with my fiancé an family.. congrats on you approval an god speed for the rest of our process.. ..
  4. Thank you so much for the clarification. I will look into other sources an im glad others are up to date on the progress.. Again thanks for your time..
  5. Not sure who you bank with but if she has a SSN their shouldnt be any problem.. if their is id open a joint account with another bank. plenty of them around an they wont your business.. as far as your old bank that changed their mind id just fire them or just keep it open for whatever usage
  6. Well it's looking like the USCIS is slowing down on the processing of the May 22 Filers. It seems that about 3 or 4 approvals a week is the norm for the last couple of weeks. Im a May 11th an from our calculations it looks like their are about 20 people that are pre May 11th an May 11th filers that are still awaiting something. Im in the 8000 8500 block. I know that their are still previous months waiting an im sure they are just as frustrated as I am if not more.. I haven't lost hope still praying like crazy.. 😀... Im currently in Thailand leaving on the 3rd of July an im hoping to see something before i leave my fiancé so we can make some definite plans.. So im wondering when can i feasibly contact USCIS an enquire about my status in the pile of Documents they are processing. Im thinking some time in July.. If anybody has any other calculations on the weekly processing numbers please let me know... To everybody approved in our month of May congratulation's an God's speed on the rest of our process...
  7. Were so with you on this were May 11th 22 NOA1 an now the excitement has turned into OMG what the heck is going on.. 🤣LoL... well the excitement is still there its just the maddning frustration of seeing the later days get their approvals thats keeping me wondering and up at nights.. Like you said even tho i knew it would happen an im very happy for them.. But i have this vision of this white neatly put together binder just sitting there as the agent brings more packages over to his desk an sets them on top of that white bider...🤯 Im in Bangkok with my fiancé this month an she scans everyday to keep track of the approvals an stuff so im getting an eye full everyday several times a day.. Plus our being 12hrs ahead of the U.S is something to add too. Thanks for posting or venting as you said.. it made our day we laughed so hard just to relised that were not alone.. it's nice to be able to laugh about our situation. It lightens the moment.. So hang in there brother were on the same tree branch.. An congrats to all you approvals for May so far.. were gonna be right behind you...😀
  8. thanks so much for the reassurance.. i try not to quote FB because everybody there is an expert or something.. im in the same thought process as yours.. even when i did the intial reasearch the peope posting examples of the labeling said that they havent seen anything official about the requirenment to do so but had heard it was a good idea . So they did it so as not to leave anything to chance.
  9. Congrats to everyone who's been approved.. lord knows its been quite a wait. Iv been reading some of the FB posts on the USCIS FB page an this person is saying that some of the applicants are getting refused.. not request for additional information but refused/denied because they didnt label/personalise the photos on the back of the pictures they submitted.. including passport pics.. i labeled all my pisc in my folder an the passport pics as well with out writing on the back of them.. when i was putting our I129F together the blogs said to just label the personal pictures an even some of the examples showed labeling next to the mounted picture... . So im wondering if anybody has any thoughts on this subject.. As i watch them get closer to my NOA1 day an dance around a little past me with approvals im guess im now looking for more things to keep me up a night... 😀
  10. i hear ya.. an believe me your right.. were just right now being hopeful because they jumped to our month... our original timeline is mid to late july.. as long as they consistant with that were happy...
  11. Were in the 80000 TO 80500 block.. the way its looking based on the spread sheet my fiance has made were expecting sometime with the next 10 days (hopefully.. praying... an more praying...) She has noticed that the USCIS will post on the Case Update page usally the day after the decision has been made. She will check a case number on tue an wthe status will be the same an then on wed she'll check again an the case will be approved with tue's date then she updates the status.. So we hav a running xcell sheet with the case numbers listed an their current status so we can whats going on..kinda like yours just limited to one field. So were hanging in their.. excited, disappointed, giddy, an well just a slew of emotions.. Man were so close...
  12. yea add the long weekend to that statement an you'v got a complete picture.. when USCIS processed after our date we were intially confused then thought it was the way the packets were distributed amongst the agents.. Now were a little baffled an on the edge of our seats everyday checking.. So hang in there people were so close... Man are we close...
  13. were all in the que together brother... happy you got yur NOA2.. that means for me its one step closer to us... congrats an looking forward to expanding this thread to the next steps for us May filers...
  14. MY case number on the Myuscis site shows a postiing date that is on May 12th. Then the body of the txt says that on May 11th my I129F was recieved an then gives us our case number.. Then the case history shows that our NOA1 is posted for May12th..this dosent make any sence to me as i"v always set our time line for May 11th.. any ideas......?
  15. welcome to the party.. lots of good info here an especially now that the May filers finally hav, what looks like a light at the end of the tunnel..
