We had filed applications for I-485 (Adjustment of status) and I-765 (Employment authorization) on 23rd May 2024. Payment was processed by USCIS yesterday, we received receipt numbers via text, for both forms. However, after couple of hours, we received a notification for I-485 that they have issued initial request for evidence notice. We are now waiting for their mail/ notice. Does it mean that both our applications will be delayed? or they will continue processing I-765 form as per normal timeline while we send the evidence for I-485 to USCIS ? How much time does it take to receive the notice via mail ? Once we send the evidence to them, how long will they take to process it? Will it delay our case? Will both forms be delayed or just I-485 will be delayed? How long do you think, it will take to get GC and EAD? Any advice/ guidance will be highly appreciated. Note - We filed our applications at Chicago lockbox. Applications are basis K1 visa. #AOS #EAD #K1visa

I just got my receipt number today, payment has been processed. Hopefully, you will get yours too soon! Looks like - they are processing May cases now -
It’s been 6 weeks now since we submitted AOS, EAD applications basis K1 visa. Neither payment has been processed nor we have received receipts/NOA.. Should we re-submit AOS, EAD applications to USCIS? or should we wait for another couple of weeks ? We sent it to Chicago lockbox, they received it on 23rd May 2024. I have been inquiring about application from USCIS customer care on call every alternate day but they ask to inquire from lockbox. I wrote to lockbox twice via email but no response yet. It’s been 2 weeks since I sent them an email. Any suggestions here? What should we do? #AOS #EAD #K1 #K1visa

Hi all - Is it okay if we re-submit our AOS, EAD applications to USCIS? It’s been 6 weeks now, Neither payment has been processed nor we have received receipts/NOA.. or should we wait for another couple of weeks ? we sent it to Chicago lockbox, they received it on 23rd May 2024. I wrote to lockbox via email twice but no response yet. It’s been 2 weeks since I sent them an email. Any suggestions here? What should we do? -

Our case is ready. we submitted DS 160 form yesterday and made payment (via cash) at Citi bank today. How much time will it take for payment to get updated on website - www.usvisascheduling.com ? when will we able to see slots for biometric and interview? Embassy : Mumbai, India
