  1. I am hoping to get something mid September ! I heard someone scheduled 25 October earlier this week. I hope the add appointments when cases come in.
  2. When were you able to book the interview? My case is still at NVC, going in transit beginning of next week I think.
  3. Inquiring does not slow down the case. I inquired once at 30 days, second time at 50 days and then once per week through the général inquiry form, explaining that we have a wedding scheduled in October and that I would love to get the interview asap. Got the number finally at 74 days. Hopefully it will soon change to in transit and ready. Don't worry, you will get it soon.
  4. I waited a month after that to get that number, keep on inquiring, and I think there is a good chance they will send it out soon
  5. You should get yours really soon ! I hope they also ship outside of the calendar dates we have (next one is 1 to 2 August)
  6. Hey everyone, Received our case number last Friday on day 74 post NOA2. Case status says at NVC and hopefully it will go into transit within a few days. Received it after multiple inquiries
  7. You can try to expedite with NVC and I hope they will be empathic and compassionate. Yes we tried to call uscis to expedite when my US future father in law was really terribly ill and they said over the phone it was not a valid reason. Very sad, but he passed back in March. I really know what this feels like. Praying for you 🙏🙏
  8. Mine passed during the process à few months ago. I feel you. Expedite did not work unfortunately.
  9. Yes it is normal, 8 May here and still nothing. Expect 90 days. I would suggest to keep inquiring on a regular basis.
  10. Most people get it before 90 days, just inquire again and ask for the NVC number again, yes it's normal
  11. I could not agree more, and like I said, it is already à long and stressful process, and it's the only way we have to contact them ... no phone line anymore ....
  12. Once your petition is at NVC, you should only inquire via the général inquiries page, not the NVC research email
  13. Just keep on inquiring, lots of people had conflicting information and ended up receiving their case number just afterwards.
  14. I do not think they punish people for asking too much after 60 days. They cut the phone lines down last year, the wedding organisation is also difficult because of the timelines being so uncertain and the process is very stressful overall and super long. Inquiring is just the only thing we have left to ask, and some people do not even get the welcome notification and only get their numbers through inquiry.
  15. In the email I received it says that if your uscis approval date is before the dates they are now working on (8 June), you should inquire again. I guess they know they are backlogged and it can't hurt to inquire weekly via the public inquiry form. Worst case, you will get the "awaiting data entry message" again and again.
  16. Yep I am sending weekly inquiries as well, day 67 now and they replied with the same message that they have our petition. Hopefully I will get the number with the next 3 weeks now.
