Yes I totally agree ! it is very hard ! Just check your Ceac status every day, it will go into transit and then ready. I will indeed be less stressed when I get that embassy notification ... I wish us all so much luck !!

So just for an update. NVC confirmed our case was shipped on 1 August, still no email from the embassy... my sense of humour is getting really sarcastic these days ...

They said they don't have the physical documents yet and once they have them they will send us à receipt notice with instructions. I am not the only one, there are about 5 people in that same batch. That's why I think the physical papers could still be at NVC and hopefully sent out next week Tuesday or Wednesday. All with a case "ready" status that appeared on 2 August after transit for a day on the ceac website... otherwise it is just something else related to the August holiday period or something like that. It is starting to stress me out, so I hope they will send that asap !

I am in the same situation for Paris and still waiting for the instruction letter since 2 August. Most people book anyway, but do it further away, London has many appointments, so you make sure they have your physical file (at least à month away) I think that the files do not necessarily leave at the same time as the in transit status, that is my theory, that the physical files can leave in the next batch at times. The notification from the embassy is just to make sure they have your physical file. It is just nerve wracking again to wait for a receipt notification while your case has been ready for 10 days now ...

Just send them an inquiry every week, that's what I did

I totally agree with you, it's all very complicated. Also waiting for the embassy email, they say they don't have my physical file yet, while it was sent by NVC on 1 August ... ready since 2 August. Really nerve wracking ... do they have a drop box they empty once in a while or something? lol

I feel you, it really is annoying. My embassy normally replies super quickly, but it has been one week now since it got to a ready status ... and still no instruction email ...

My case has been ready since 2 August and arrived at the embassy on Friday. No email yet, I read that some people never get it, and I fear the worst with the Summer holidays .... I just emailed the embassy. There is about one appointment day per month in Paris and already booked mine for end of September, because my wedding is end of October. Hopefully I will get the instruction email before the medical on 11 September ...

My case is ready at the Paris embassy. The website says you need to wait for their instruction email, otherwise they will cancel the appointment. How long did it take them to send you that email?

They take about a week to respond. I did one every week after day 50. Now that you know they have it, you can ask for your case number.

The chances are high it will be sent out in this batch. Mine was created on 19 July ... still showing at NVC .... I hope it will be sent out tomorrow. I sent our another inquiry last Sunday asking for it to be sent.

Well I have had my number for a while. It was created on 19 July, so really hoping it will be shipped tomorrow or on Wednesday !

It happened to people before getting their case number. Inquire again via général inquiries and the nvcresearch email, ask your petitioner to do both, and the chances are high you will get a positive reply

Same I got my number through inquiry and they don't tell you when they plan to send it out. Not transparent at all ....

That is great news, got mine last week Friday and it is still showing at NVC. I hope it will turn into transit on Monday with the shipping days. @Bh_sarahpraying for you so you get shipped as well !
