  1. Sorry to hear that.. That doesn't make any sense. Your priority date is two months earlier than me. Why wouldn't they allow you to inquire... Oh did you file k3? They received our filing on 1/24 and the notice date of I-797C was 1/29. Coincidentally, our case status was updated to "being actively reviewed" on the same day. I am not 100% sure if K3 pushed them to view my case, but I would recommend filing it.
  2. Correction, the response is from field office
  3. Don't lose hope! Did you submit an inquiry on their website? I think it is working. Here is an update to my case. They are finally taking some actions. We got a response saying we will receive a decision or notice shortly. If not, we can inquire again after 60 days. This is way better than the information (waiting until 2028 for an inquiry) we got from Emma or the field office. Actually, the field office also notified us that the service center contacted them. Below is from case tracker. I think they just recently had these detailed features. Lawfully only shows the 2nd time actively review, which does not indicate an immediate approval now.
  4. July 2022 filer, still waiting... I was finally able to send an inquiry last week. The estimated time did change from "taking longer.. to 2 months" now. My case has been at the Seattle field office for over 5 months. I checked on other posts to see how long people will receive a decision after submitting an inquiry through their website. Most cases took 2-3 months. I will call them after 30 days. While I am sooooo tired of this waiting game, let's hope it will end soon!!! Please keep us posted.
  5. No, it was filed correctly. The receipt came from Texas service center and transferred to California, then to the field office.
  6. I am! I have asked Emma a few times where my case was and it turned out my case is now at a field office, which is weird to me. I thought all the I-130 for CR1 are processed at the service center, not a field office. Anyways, last week the field office confirmed that they have my case and advised me to wait until 2027 (average timeline there is 42 months), crazy! My spouse and I are really upset about this transfer and waiting... It seems this waiting is endless... I also found it's rare for cases to be moved to a local office (only 1 or 2 posts online). We are figuring out what we should do next... So you can check out where your case is. If your case is at a service center, you may send them an inquiry on Jan.19th, as it shows on the website. I hope you are luckier than us. Happy holidays!
  7. Me too, PD July 1. Okay, I am not alone... 😭
  8. This is my third week of "Longer than expected." The same status showed up earlier this year and then went to 2 months in April. I think our time will come between June and August. We are almost there. 😢
  9. Hi there, My finance filed the I-129f in October 2020. We received an RFE in September 2021 and USCIS received our response in October 2021. Then we have been waiting... It's over 7 months since the RFE. I wonder if anyone had the similar waiting time? I can't believe the K-1 visa process has taken so long... Thanks
