  1. Sorry I wasn't around for a while. I got a RFE and got denied shortly after. It was Vermont. The attorney was also shocked because my case was strong. I added more letters and refiling this week. Hope it will work this time.
  2. Hello guys, I have a question regarding the timeline. My lawyer submitted all the documents at the same time to both USCIS and DOS. USCIS sent receipt notice in October 2022, but DOS says they got their stuff in Feb 2023. It's still pending in USCIS so obviously there is no I-612 yet. My question is, I see that DOS shows in all cases as if they have received the I-612 like at the same day, or a few days later, maybe a few months. Is this what they always do? Like if my case hopefully gets forwarded to DOS in the next few months, will it be listed around the same date when they got my other stuff? I'm confused . Thank you all!
  3. Hello. this problem also applies to me. I am a J1 physician too and have submitted hardship waiver very recently. I was planning to apply for an O visa for next year when I find a job, but all of the places that I interview are very interested in getting a HHS waiver with a H1 visa. it''s actually easier than collecting all the letters and everything for O visa, but I don't want that waiver application to effect the hardship waiver. What exactly did your lawyer say?
