  1. Congratulations! I’m glad your wait is almost over, it is annoying you had to wait so long. Judging by the medical situation, I did schedule mine already, just to be sure of a date.. apparently it’s free to cancel up to 24 hours in advance so 😅
  2. You can find your (original) service center at the bottom of your receipt notice (NOA1), but chances are it has changed by now. To get an update on your SC, it’s best to ask Emma (afaik only the petitioner will be told about updates by an agent). Good luck!
  3. Just got the email from NVC saying we’re DQ’d, onto the next step now! Good luck to everyone else still waiting, I hope things will be set in motion for you soon!
  4. I’m glad you finally have some progress! Thanks for this and the continuing updates, good luck at your interview!
  5. Joining this topic, as my embassy is also the one in Brussels. Haven’t gotten DQ’d yet, but all documents have been submitted to the NVC. It seems that in December the embassy issued 4 CR-1 visas and 5 IR-1 visas. This is more than they issued in November, so let’s hope they’ll pick up the pace soon! Source: Monthly statistics
  6. Hi there, I’ve searched everywhere and I could not find an answer, so please excuse me if this has been asked and answered before. Basically, we’ll file an I-864EZ (as we qualify for it) soon, with the NVC. However, the issue is that my wife (USC) has started a new job in January, she’ll still make over the 125% guideline, but this new employer will not be mentioned on the financial documents that have to be submitted (W2s), for last tax year, yet it will be listed under “Current employer” at the I-864EZ document. Will this cause any issues? Are there other documents that have to be filled or send that would help clear up any confusion? Thanks!
  7. Updated the mailing address yesterday due to a move, my estimate now shows 7 months after showing “taking longer than expected” for a couple of months.. I do hope this is not accurate..
  8. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/798274-march-2023-filers/ Feel free to join this one! 🙂
  9. My earlier timeline went into taking longer than expected (although that came as no surprise), but since yesterday it shows 2 weeks again.. keeping my fingers crossed. We did very recently file an I-129F for the K3, unsure if that had any effect on the timeline it shows though.
  10. I know that I shouldn’t pay too much attention to the USCIS timeline, but this still gives me good hope!
  11. Hi! Figured I'd join the topic. Originally filed for a K1 in September 2022, decided a CR1 would be the better option, thus withdrew the K1 petition in after getting married in February 2023 (never got a notification of acceptance for the withdrawal though) Filed for CR1, March 2nd, 2023 through the online system, NOA1 received the same day.
