  1. Yeah we uploaded them in the optional section. There is a menu that lets you select the type of document and a text box if you need to add more context.
  2. We hadn’t thought of that either, and only submitted a new Affidavit of Support after the baby was born due to some updates to our financials. I would guess it’s better to be safe than sorry and resubmit, even if the baby is the only change for you. But I’m far from an expert on what is required/recommended. I bet the question has been asked before somewhere on this site, so it might also be worth searching the forums.
  3. We had a baby before my spouse's interview as well. Probably doesn't hurt to upload the docs, but we didn't and it wasn't an issue. The officer asked if we had any children together but nothing beyond that.
  4. Hi all, We had a weird series of events transpire and wanted to check whether anyone else has experienced something similar, or if anyone has advice. We're worried we somehow got bumped back in the queue for an interview. Here's a timeline of the events for full context, with the confusing events in bold: May 17: Finished submitting documents in CEAC. May 30: Received note requesting petitioner's evidence of income. The message was vague/confusing because we thought we'd submitted sufficient evidence, so we reached out to petitioner's US Representative office to contact NVC and ask for clarification. June 1: Realized our probable mistake and submitted additional income evidence. June 14: Received DQ message. July 28: Received "Immigration appointment cancelled" email/CEAC message. We had not received an interview letter. July 28: Received email from US Rep office with NVC's response to our question about the income evidence. NVC said that we didn't need to worry about the May 30 message, we are DQ'ed and in line for an interview. The consular officer will make the final call on the financial support requirements. July 31: Received another DQ message. I searched VisaJourney, but the only threads with similar circumstances (appointment cancelled, two DQ letters) seemed to be about people who requested expedites, which we did not. Anyone have ideas on what this could mean?
