  1. Update on my status. Wife's interview was set for March 20th, 2023. Interview was also very quick and easy. From everything my wife told me she passed. CO told my wife that the visa shouldn't take more than a weeks time and to pick it up at our designated location. So happy to get this part over with. I'm sure I still have a bit more dealings with the US Government since my wife is only getting a 2 year visa. But for me it's 100% better to be together and the overall timeline between filing and visa for me was only about 1 year. 😁
  2. Understood, thank you. That's exactly what I decided to do but just wanted to ask others as I don't want any more unexpected delays with this process.
  3. Congrats! I'm hoping my wife gets it as quickly as you did. We're going on vacation 10 days after the interview and would like to just head immediately to the US after that vacation as well.
  4. Hello everyone, I have some concerns in regards to my wife's interview in March. We received a e-mail requesting "Evidence of relationship between petitioner and application such as photographs etc" and to upload it to CEAC. This seems to be for the Petitioner (so me) but under my options for Additional Documents there doesn't seem to be a correct document type for this, since everything seems to be for the Affidavit of Support documents. Not sure what I am suppose to upload this as, so I set it as other and added several pages of documents for evidence. Would submitting it like that be correct? I assume they already have the information on my marriage and relationship as it was submitted via DHS, NVC, and now should be at the consulate. Just not sure what documents they will have and which they won't at the consulate.
  5. Yep definitely. I'm just happy we're seeing the light at the end of this tunnel, and overall my experience was much easier and faster than many others so I feel blessed.
  6. Received my IL (Interview Letter) today. Interview scheduled for 03/20/23. It definitely looks like their pace is slowing down versus the previous trend or maybe there's just way more interviews/applicant at the moment. Super excited and relieved to know we have a Interview but also disappointed since we were hoping to spend Valentines and our Wedding Anniversary together in February.
  7. Me and my wife got DQed 12/16 and am still waiting for a appointment as well. Hoping it won't be longer than the 4 weeks or so they stated. I'm guessing Bangkok is having a influx of appointments/applicants now since it use to be about 4 weeks total for Interview Letter and Appointment from some timeline early to mid 2022. But you should definitely reach out to the embassy if you haven't already.
  8. I'm not sure if you can print the confirmation again, but I recall being given a confirmation page when I entered all my fiancee's profile, case information, and mailing when I first created the account and filed for a IR1 visa. I opted out for a pick up vs mailing though.
  9. Thank you for that update. I probably won't get my interview until March then. XD was hoping a early February interview as well.
  10. Are you still waiting for the interview appointment? I myself just got DQed and was wondering about the timeframe myself.
  11. Just received my DQ email but the status in my CEAC file has not been updated. So I'm just hoping it's because it's a Friday and by Monday everything will be good. The email definitely says I've been DQ though. 12/16/2022 date.
  12. CONGRATULATIONS!!! From my understanding VisaJourney usually recommends either finding assets or a co-sponsor. A lot of times they also recommend just getting accurate information in regards to current pay. Such as a employment verification with stated salary of your wife or several months pay stubs. From my understanding proving that current income is enough should suffice at the interview. Now is the time for you to convince the Consulate. Edit: I saw that you stated her Income is from Thailand... From my understanding they're looking for US based Income unless it will continue while in the US.
  13. I'm hoping they aim to brighten a few more people's Christmas and hopefully that includes some of us.
  14. Boo! Welp for any form of solace we're at least that much closer to bringing our significant others over. I'm hoping for a January/February date for me. That is still about half a year faster than anticipated when this whole journey started.
  15. Yep I had to. It was part of my required Civil Documents for my wife.
