I applied for my mother on I-130 in May 2022, I got an email last week to advise that NVC has received approved immigrant visa petition from USCIS and to pay fees and commence document collection.
My mother left the US last week to return to London, (day before status change), she is not due back till early 24. I have a few questions re process and timelines.would greatly appreciate the help.
1. After this stage how long does it usually take to process and to receive the Green Card.
2. Is it at this stage we get to select either in US or local consulate processing. which is recommended?
3. Based on her inlines is it best to go with local consulate processing?
