hi guys: We had reasons for expedited processing, and were approved due to medical/humanitarian reasons. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can chime in, on the question I asked. When can one expect to get the passport, after the interview? Thank you.

Hi there all: It is a good sign to see that Islamabad Embassy is maybe moving a bit faster. My wife is undergoing spouse visa process. We were able to expedite our interview at ISL embassy (have been DQ since Oct 3rd, 2022) We received an email indicating that our interview was expedited, that our interview date will be scheduled and emailed to us shortly (still waiting for the date) It was expedited due to medical reasons for our newborn medical issues. My question is: For spouse immigrant visa interview: after the interview, how long does it take to receive the passport? and be able to fly? I am sure there are varying time frames for different cases. But our case is straight forward, and an expedited interview due to our newborn baby born in Lahore (who is an American citizen at birth and needs to go to USA asap) medical issues. And there are no complications in our case, it is the first time I have sponsored for a spouse. Any input would be appreciated. We are hoping to fly asap after the interview.
