    They won’t send the packet back; this is why it is suggested to make a copy before mailing. The letter will tell you what is missing or what additional evidence might be needed. They’re asking for it to be returned by 09/06 so you might need to overnight it back to them if that letter doesn’t arrive soon…

    Some embassies open interview dates in blocks, so that may be why they tell you to keep checking back on the website?

    My NOA1 was May 17th. NOA2 didn’t come til August 1st, when they were already working on July 2022 cases. Unfortunately it’s a waiting and hoping situation.

    NVC bulletin says they’re working cases 5 weeks back. The mystery piece is how long it’s taking USCIS to mail things over. Hopefully they transmit the cases within a month and we stay on a ~2 month timeframe to getting a case number. 🙏🤞

    Y’all I’m CRYING, OUR CASE GOT APPROVED TODAY 😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ My girl is asleep, I can’t wait to tell her when she wakes up. 442 days; praying that nothing bad happens between now and visa in hand 🙏

    I think ours is gonna be the last case in May that gets approved 😞

    Does anyone know how many May cases are left to be processed overall? It looks like the May-specific spreadsheet is no longer being updated.

    Case still not touched… we’re officially in the 20% left behind to be outside of standard processing time. Im so broken over this stupid process. I really wanted us to be together by Christmas and now it looks like that’s not gonna happen 😔

    Getting ancy/nervous as the days pass. My date range seems to be getting processed slower than the other ranges touched so far, and higher chunk of denials. Makes me think my batch was assigned to a case worker who’s strict and slow. 😰

    Excited that they started poking into our month!! But nervous that our case will be one that gets left behind. 😰 filing date is May 17th.

    I’m excited by the higher processing last week, but with all of the RFEs I’m not sure what good it will do in the long run. USCIS case processing has been updated from 15.5 months to 16.5 months. 😔

    They do not. You might see an odd 1-5 cases processed on a Saturday, but those are outliers likely getting supervisor approval or something. USCIS processing staff only works M-F.

    Yes! That doesn’t include the numbers from today yet! I wish there was somewhere we could send praise/cheers to the USCIS team working on these and busting butt this year so far. They deserve a pizza party.
