Our Story
Fernando and I met in Toronto, Canada in 2002. I was working in Pittsburgh, PA and decided to go to Canada for a weekend with some friends. Fernando didn't have a US Visa so I traveled back and forth to Canada from Philadelphia for about a year. He went back to Brazil in late 2003 and we continued our long(er) distance relationship. I traveled to Brazil a total of 3 times in about a year. We decided to get married and started our paperwork in November 2004. After some confusion on Fernando's address and waiting 4 months for a Canadian police report, we finally had our K1 interview in late September 2004 in Rio de Janeiro. Fernando is entering the US on December 27, 2006.
