  1. It is quite common for language only accredited schools to be well versed in the International Students Transfer playbook. The more nuanced issue here is if OP will encounter a tough CBP .. or pass easily. Aa OPs Reddit link suggested ..CBP doesn’t care , USCIS doesn’t pay attention ..but your very valid point that F-1 was granted because of school A reputation, academic standards conditions, .tuition and all . Would school B ( language only ) have resulted in the initial F-1 grant ?….
  2. …never know , some scams go uncovered for very long. Trump University: A Look at an Enduring Education Scandal https://www.americanprogress.org/article/trump-university-look-enduring-education-scandal/
  3. You were well prepared to execute a transfer and on the surface it all looks good. Try not to keep your answers very brief if you are ever questioned on reason . https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/students/instructions-for-transferring-to-another-school-as-an-f-1-student If you have arrived in the United States but want to transfer to a new school before you begin classes at the school listed on your Form I-20, talk to the DSO at the school listed on that form
  4. It was a sincere compliment of OP’s language skill…and a bit of shade to the many language universities on ICE radar ( many shut down others under investigation). Perhaps testing again the scores would certainly exceed minimum…and help right the course for the degree program.
  5. Incredible what 9 months at that less expensive school has done for the complexity and command of English..miraculous. You write well enough to teach at a “ language school”.. I cannot imagine what on earth they will teach you on your return. You will likely make it past CBP if as one poster indicated, they don’t “ dig “ deeper. .. https://iss.washington.edu/requests/academic-changes/change-school/ As long as you have followed the proper transfer procedures, you will be able to use your current, unexpired F-1 visa to reenter the U.S. even though it has your previous school name printed on it.
