I thought we needed a welcome letter from the embassy before we schedule an interview? Or are we supposed to just send the form, pay the fee, and then schedule?

Where do you guys find estimated interview wait times? I just sent a third inquiry asking if I had indeed been given a case number.

When you all say "Updated to In Transit," was this based on an inquiry? Or did they send an email?

I wrote to NVC like a month ago, and they said that they had recently received my case. Then I asked again, and they said this: To Whom it Concerns: You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General. Anyone receive a message like this?

I heard from both NVC ResearchGate and AskNVC that they just recently received my petition. NOA2 date: June 7, 2023 I don't know if this helps anyone when looking at their own timeline.
