    Depends on embassy. For Kuwait it was 28 days.

    Apply for a NIV,I got one and I have US kids and a pending IV in process. I think it depends on the embassy too and the fraud rate in the country you are applying from.

    I wouldn’t even mention your boyfriend anywhere on the application and definitely do not do an invitation letter or have him as your sponsor for this trip. Most likely they won’t look at any documents that you will take to the embassy. You have to convince them that you are going back home after your trip and having a bf in USA and you being this young hurts your chances greatly. good luck.

    Thank you! 🤗 NVC sent my my interview date at the embassy,I didn’t need to schedule it but it gave instructions in case I want to change the date. As per your other question Im sure it depends on the embassies and their availability to schedule.

    Thank you 🙏 Amman processed 110 IR1s in December vs 5 only in Kuwait,that’s why my case moved faster.hang in there you are almost there👍🏼

    Sorry just saw this! DQ = Documentarily Qualified (NVC approved and accepted the papers I uploaded) i resubmitted a marriage certificate the NVC asked for. That must be very frustrating! I think you are past regular processing times? Did you try contacting USCIS about your case?

    Kuwait 🇰🇼 it isn’t backlogged at all maybe that’s why I got it fast! I’m actually surprised it took this long to schedule an intreview.

    Got my appointment for march 6th! Took a month after documentary qualified.

    Just got the letter! March 6 is my interview date yay

    After USCIS approval you will go through the nvc stage and after your documents are accepted and approved by NVC then you it’s around 2-3 months to schedule an appointment at the embassy.
