YAY! our case is complete! I'll call VNC again this week to see if they have an interview date. It's weird that the lady said that they only schedule the cases every 2nd week of the month. Anyone have any information on this? I love you hun! I cant wait to see you in Germany in 3 days! I am very excited to be there with you wifey! ::kiss::

Received phone call from District Representative today Nov. 30, 2007

The district representative is now going to call The Vermont Service Center. yay!

I told the district rep. that my wife and I still did not receive a confirmation number.

Added a signature receipt to our packet when I mailed it out so that way I knew that VCS received our case.

I got so excited I had to call my wife and post to the forum.

No need to worry. CSC is stuck at the end of August (see above) and VSC just started moving again but is still caught up at the end of July. Just keep on waiting there is nothing else you can do. My husband and I are closing in on the 15 weeks- lets see if they make it. Otherwise we will have to call and contact our Congressman, Senator and who else we can think of.

I called my bank yesterday and had them put a note on my account. I asked them to approve the check for $355 to homeland security once it comes in. Some banks have a 3 month time frame and if the check is not cashed it could bounce. Some banks like my own have a 6 month time frame. The check is dated Aug. 18, 2007. Anyone else been calling their bank? Anyone back-dating their checks?
