  1. Hey guys! Random question, are ILs being sent via post or email? We’re about to submit the last of our docs to NVC and I will be moving address in a few weeks. Not sure whether to update my address before we submit or after I move. I don’t want to miss the IL if it’s coming by post!
  2. Id recommend putting in a congressional enquiry in the meantime with your representative. That's helped speed things up for some of us here.
  3. Thanks for a detailed response! Its something to consider as a back up plan.
  4. I’m due to be moving to the US in the coming months on a CR-1. I’m currently employed for a company that operates here in the UK as well as the US. They’re aware that I’m leaving soon and conversations are beginning about potentially transferring within the company. However, this is subject to a position being available etc. What is the potential of working remotely for my UK office during the interim if there isn’t a position immediately available? I’m authorized to work in the US but I’m interested to know what potential tax implications there could be? Is it worth the hassle or is it better to take on a temporary job and then switch to my US office once everything is good to go? Im sure an internal transfer will go ahead, but I’m just working on a back up plan just in case! Has anyone had a similar experience?
  5. 13 minutes later and we just received the welcome email! I dont wanna say this website is helping to influence things, but......
  6. Our status has updated to "Case Was Sent To The Department of State" Hopefully NVC send us our welcome letter soon! @llcoolwil - any update for you guys yet?
  7. Someone correct me if im wrong but I believe they should take up to 60 days to respond to RFE. Fingers crossed you hear back way before then.
  8. Entering the US with the intention of adjusting your status is fraud. You will most likely have to wait out the process here in the UK before you can immigrate again. Id recommend filing for US citizenship once you're eligible to do so. That way you can avoid this in the future.
  9. No way! Congratulations! We'll be seeing you in Orlando very soon!
  10. Woke up this morning to see our case is AR as of 02/25/23. Checked our documents tab and we’ve been approved!
  11. I have just contacted Emma for an update and we were told that our case is "In Process" since 02/10/2023. An update nonetheless but still have zero idea when we will be approved.
  12. Hopefully it's nice quick fix for you guys! Did you just ask Emma for an update?
