  1. I hope so! I missed the last batch a few days. Im just hoping they haven't decided to skip this month for whatever reason.
  2. Hey guys! I have been DQ'd for two weeks now and my case is still saying its at NVC. Im going to assume that this updates once ILs are sent out. But has anyone seen their status change prior to receiving their IL? Thanks!
  3. Hey guys! I have been DQ'd for little over a week now and my case is still saying its at NVC. Im going to assume that this updates once ILs are sent out. But has anyone seen their status change prior to receiving their IL? Thanks!
  4. No problem at all! let me know how it goes! I’m booking my medical for next month so I’ll be interested to see an recent experience!
  5. Unless you have a history of health related issues a full report is not required. The practitioner is only interested in seeing a summary of your health from you GP (which they should be able to print off at the surgery for you. Along with your vaccination records. I emailed Visa Medicals a few weeks ago to ask the same question and they confirmed a 2 page summary is sufficient. I’ll be taking this email as back up just in case there are any issues!
  6. I hoping to see a round of ILs be sent out in the next week or so. Hopefully if you fall in the same batch as us then you might see a June interview date!
  7. No worries! Best of luck! Im currently waiting for my IL so hopefully not too far behind you.
  8. I think the general rule of thumb is to bring copies of everything you have submitted so far. The embassy are only interested in seeing the civil/tax docs you uploaded to NVC so they can verify their authenticity. That being said it’s not uncommon to ask for additional proof/information. Best advice is come prepared for everything. You probably won’t need it but it’s best to have it in case. As for bringing a copy of your sponsors passport, it wouldn’t hurt but I doubt they would need to see it.
  9. Don't quote me on this but case creation takes only a few days (3 in our case) bare in mind they do not process anything on weekends. Once you get your welcome letter you have to pay the fees and that can take 2-3 business days to process. Once payment is complete you can start the process, I suggest in the meantime you gather the docs you need. Police certificate took me almost a month (But that's because they lost it) It took us about 2 weeks to be DQ'd. We are just waiting on our interview letter now. ETA on that is 2-3 weeks for the London Embassy. But from what I understand this varies by country.
  10. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html Keep an eye on this for timeframes. We got our welcome letter about 3 days after approval.
  11. https://visawhen.com/nvc https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html According to these sources it should take 2-3 weeks for review.
  12. Can I renew my ESTA to take a short trip to the US after my I-130 has been approved and Im at the NVC stage?
  13. Thanks for clarifying! Also, did not know about the pressing submit again. I think we may have pressed it again the day we submitted but nothing happened.
  14. Hello again! This might seem like a silly question. But im gonna go ahead and ask anyway. On Saturday we submitted all of our Civil Docs, AOS etc on the CEAC portal. Our current status says "Submitted" Going back through a few things I noticed that if our case is processing electronically we must email the documents. Even though everything is submitted on the portal, do we still need to email NVC? Or is this advice out of date? Seems stilly to email docs as well as uploading them for review. Secondary question, I believe this has been covered but Id just like some clarification. The CEAC Status portal (https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx) still says that we are required to submit documents. Am I right in thinking that this status will remain until NVC completes our case? Thanks everyone! tagging @llcoolwil because we have the same concerns.
  15. We submitted our docs on the 18th. Review is taking anywhere between 14-18 days (I recommend following this - https://visawhen.com/nvc) The IL trend tends to be within 10 days of DQ and it looks like your interview will be scheduled a month or so after. All being well, the ETA is 2-3 months till interview time (Early June as @jaz_1980 mentioned) This is the timeline im hoping to be on!
  16. Your approval letter should arrive in the post in the next few weeks. Id suggest logging in to your USCIS account and checking your timeline.
  17. Having had a similar situation I listed any address that I updated with my bank or drivers license over the years. Usually 3 months+
  18. It was apparently dispatched on Monday, Still nothing. The email says to wait up to 8 working days before getting in touch.
  19. Hey All, I have been waiting almost 4 weeks for my certificate now. When I called to ask for an update they told me there were delays. I explained that this delay is halting our visa process and they said they will try their best to get it posted in the next few days. If I knew this would be he case I would have paid for the premium service. Is anyone else having any delays with receiving their certificate?
  20. That's awesome! Thank you so much for helping to clarify, this is super helpful.
  21. Hey everyone, I was hoping could shed some light on our situation. And for the record I do not know much about US taxes or the IRS but hear me out. My wife is preparing to submit our AOS and tax returns to NVC. However we've noticed a few red herrings. First question is, the most recent tax form she has is 2020-2021. We are just over the threshold by about $200. Will this prove to be an issue with it being so close to the limit. Secondly, we just noticed that her accountant (She is self employed) has filed her taxes under her previous surname and filed as single. I believe she was waiting for her new SS card to come back with her new surname on. Are we okay to submit this or would it pay to have to get her taxes up to date and submitted for this year before we upload anything to NVC to avoid any kind of issues? As a side note, we got married and I returned to the UK to wait out the I-130. Should that matter if she files married but separately? Hopefully this makes sense. I apologise I am not clued up on this thing at all.
