  1. Send an email to the US Embassy in Jakarta and ask them the question about your issue with the delivery process and they are best to tell you. The US Embassy Website gives you their email address to contact them and my experience has been tha they always reply. Good luck.
  2. They are totally separate timelines, just open a new profile and start a whole new time line with your new application.
  3. I am so surprised that Premier Bintaro used old forms. Their charge for medical examination is certainly not cheap like in other countries and given that they are the only hospital that is approved by the US Embassy in Jakarta you would think they are up to date in all their forms required by the Embassy there.
  4. After, I sent all the originals to my Fiancee for her interview, I just contacted all the places of where I had originals from and paid a very small amount and they sent me certified copies that I still have. Fortunately, I provided copies of all the original documents that they requested and they did keep all the copies but returned the originals. In the preparation for interview in the Jakarta, Indonesia US Embassy website, clearly states what originals and copies are required to be brought, not sure what Manila does.
  5. Well, our K1 visa was approved at the same Embassy in Jakarta in June 2021 and my then fiancee came to the US and we got married and started the AOS process, unfortunately due to family reasons and the longer time line these days with obtaining the Advance Parole to travel, he returned to Indonesia and then I apply for the spousal visa, which has been approved by USCIS and also documentarily qualified and we await the assignment of the interview. In any case, i was just trying to minimize the documents that he will have to bring to the interview thinking that the information I submitted to USCIS with the I 130 would be available to the CO in the Embassy. I will just prepare the same as when he had the K 1 Visa interview as that seemed to work out ok. Thanks
  6. We are in the NVC process of awaiting the notice for the Embassy interview. In reviewing the content of what is offered in the very informative Visa Process Steps, in the step 10 it gives you information to prepare for the interview. It also prompts you to link to the local embassy to see their requirements. Interesting to see that in the NVC process clearly tells you not to bring the Affidavit of Support to the interview, however, in the Jakarta Embassy for family visas, say you must bring it. Not a huge to do but my question is the following. How much of the information that was given in the spousal visa application to USCIS does the Embassy staff has access to view? Asking to make the evidence presentation, (pictures, chats, etc.) less bulky if they can also see all that was turned in on the application when the spouse goes to the interview. Thanks
  7. Welcome to the community.

  8. Not worried. Every situation is individual. I am a college graduate and at 65 years old petitioned for my 25 year old high school boyfriend and it was approved and we got married in the U.S., no issues whatsoever. Good luck.
  9. oh wow...good luck, I am 70 and my spouse 30 and when I applied for K1 visa we were 64 and 24 respectively and the K 1 was approved and we were married in the US in July 2021. Good luck.
  10. I think you answered your own question, what ever will make the agent easier to understand what you are submitting the easier will be on you not having to get RFE's. Do note that there is a file size limit but in todays environment all those issues are not an impossibility to overcome. Good Luck.
  11. In reference to the taxes, I just uploaded the tax transcript that I downloaded from the IRS website for 2021 and then sent a copy of my 1040 for this year and they approved it without issue.
  12. All paper work approved on 4/26/2023 now documentarily qualified and waiting for interview appointment.!!
  13. Did you ever figured this out as to how to handle?
  14. NVC Received April 4th 2023, finished all Affidavit of Support and 260 on 4/13/2023 and now wait.
  15. NVC Received April 4th 2023, finished all Affidavit of Support and 260 on 4/13/2023 and now wait.
  16. I have a question, I married my spouse in July 2021 and for reasons beyond our control, he returned to his country before the green card was finalized. Once he left I applied for a spousal visa which is now making its way through the NVC. If he is approved for his visa AFTER July 2023, that means we have been married over 2 years, though only living together 6 months. In any case, will he get a 2 year or 10 year green card? Thanks
  17. So, I just paid the affidavit of support fee at the NVC and waiting to show as paid. When that is done then I have to fill out the affidavit of support, so do I download the form and fill it out then sign it and scan and save as a file to upload on to the page or do I fill out the form online when they say I can! Thanks
  18. I was lucky that a good friend of mine was going to Indonesia about six months ago and all the originals that I thought my spouse would need for the interview that I had, I sent to him with my friend. However for my K1, I paid over $300.00 to FedEx to send all the originals there. The suggestions of sending PDF files seems prudent !
  19. Today we received an email from the National Visa Center, which proceeds to list all the possible pit falls that can be encountered in the process of filling out the affidavit of support and the visa application and it is very informative, however, the email starts by saying that they ' you were recently notified that we are now ready for you to begin filling your application with the NVC' but this is really the first email we received from them. It does have the case number, we just go ahead and start filling out the application? Thanks
  20. Today another email from USCIS and when I checked my account they said my case has been sent to the State Dept on April 2nd. YEAH!
  21. So I filed my I 130 and have my Notice dated 02/28/2022. Religiously every Monday, I log on to my account and saw my case was actively being reviewed with a date of 03/03/2022. On 3/30/2023, I received an email from USCIS to log into my account as there was an update. I loged in and saw that now it said that my case was actively being reviewed by the date change to 03/29/2023. Then this morning, on 3/31/2023, I received the same sort of email from USCIS and I log into my account and my application is approved. It took a whole day to get that approved. Great.
  22. Well today I received an email from USCIS that there has been a change on my case to log in and see it. I did log in and the change is that the case is now actively being reviewed on 3/29/2023, (before the date was March 3rd, 2022.) I guess that is progress.
  23. I am a US citizen and I petitioned my spouse and on march 3rd will be one year since I filed. What can I do if I do not get any response to my application. I check on line and says under active review since they send the receipt back in March 2022. The USCIS portal where you enter your information and it tells you when you should now, its past that date. Help. Thanks
