After the waiver approval it took a little over 2 months to get the visa to enter the U.S. The time depends on how quick the embassy acts and what additional information it may need. In my spouse's case, the medical exam had to be done again, but that was it. The embassy contacted us within a few days of the approval with what was needed to issue the visa. We didn't need to interview again, but some embassies may require it.
