  1. I am unsure of Argentinian processes. Didn't they send you anything yet? They do have the same system to schedule interviews/pay fees like Brazil does: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ar/iv
  2. It all depends on your embassy. I'd say most people get to ready status in 1-2 days, but I guess some embassies may take longer to get it? The interview and medical procedure also depends on your embassy.
  3. You can do it. Saw so many people that didn't even had a case number yet already submitting it...
  4. My embassy says this: "Important: You do not need to present police certificates from the United States." I think it's the same for everyone. I assume US embassy has access to your US history so they would know anyway.
  5. I am so so sorry about your situation. Immigration is way more than just visas and fees and processing. So much more involved. I hope your FIL can join you for your wedding. Are you the petitioner or beneficiary? I heard expedites usually work more when it's the USC that has an emergency, not the beneficiary. Either way, I'd see if you can expedite it. Doesn't hurt to contact NVC about it and then if necessary contact the embassy if your embassy has backlog. I've seen some people managing to make the embassy process faster for various reasons and embassies are usually more open to requests. I am here wishing your FIL can make it through to share your happiness! And that you can make this wait shorter for him.
  6. Congratulations!!!! An RFE is better than still waiting, hope it's what you were expecting and that you get your NOA2 soon! See? Less than 400 days ❤️ So happy for you!!!!!
  7. Uploading or not a picture to DS-160 depends on the embassy. If your DS-160 asks for a picture, then upload it. If it doesn't ask, it will say that your picture will be taken at ASC (biometrics appointment). Here's a link from 2014 explaining it. Here's another link with the embassies that require it or not (old one, may not be up to date, but I know none of the embassies in my country require a picture to be uploaded).
  8. I am not sure how it works in the UK (every embassy is different). I researched and you did have to select you received instructions and is scheduling for K1 before that stage, right? Then I would not worry about the warning, embassies usually use immigrant visa terms for K. But check on what other people from UK did it. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-or-fiancee-visa-interview/ - 2nd FAQ question explains it too.
  9. K1 is a weird one. It's non-immigrant but some embassies treat it as immigrant. All I know is that you have to fill DS-160, NOT DS-260.
  10. Every embassy unfortunately requests different things. I would guess that, since her interview is in Buenos Aires, that they will accept documents in Spanish. No need to translate it. She will need the BC translated to English though during AOS, but I don't believe it needs to be a notarized version at all. Ok, I went to the embassy link I sent you previously (you're lucky Buenos Aires provides so much info beforehand lol). They say: 14. TRANSLATIONS: All documents not in English or Spanish must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Translations done in the US must be certified by a competent translator and sworn to before a Notary Public. In Argentina, it must be done by a Sworn English Translator registered at the School of Translators, and the translation must be notarized by the School of Translators. I would say she is fine not translating and not notarizing anything if everything she has is in English or Spanish. Unless there are major differences between the Spanish language used in both countries (my limit knowledge says that there isn't). If you're still in doubt, usually embassies are quick to answer through email!
  11. Hahaha! Just woke up! Morning ritual of checking immigration things before anything work-related 👀
  12. What is TAI number? There's also no welcome letter for K1, just when they ship it to the embassy. Since you said "husband", I feel you're in the wrong thread. This is K1, not CR-1. I am not sure how the NVC CR-1 threads are named. Try finding it here: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/110-ir-1-cr-1-spouse-visa-process-amp-procedures/
  13. It is. But USCIS doesn't seem to care at all. NVC processing is starting to get faster but for March and April NOA2s, it's taking almost 80 days for NVC received, and 100 days for case number or leaving NVC. May NOA2s experienced faster processing (my NVC received was 52 days from my NOA2, so I was able to input it). June NOA2s are getting it at around 30-40 days, so it's returning to normalcy. It's not an isolated case at all. We just want the timelines to be able to reflect this delay.
  14. Should be the beneficiary as far as I know. Every embassy is different but most are through email (I am not sure about UK, but I'd say it's all e-mail). You don't need an invoice number at all, either to track your case or to fill DS-160 (you don't need a CEAC account).
  15. Hahaha that's a new one! Made me laugh here! But I'm just learning as we go, like all of us! So, let's see if I can help. You have to file I-134. That's the requirement for K1 and it's what is written on Buenos Aires' Package 3. I heard about I-134 but that's an humanitarian form I think completely unrelated to K1 process. So stick with I-134 I'd say. The expiration date seems to be an internal date for USCIS to review the form (and hell yeah, they need to review the form when there are two fields connected that should not be connected – pay attention to petitioner's name and beneficiary's name on Part 2 and 3). So it means that if you're using the one available online for your interview, meaning that USCIS has not uploaded a new one yet, then it's just fine to use the expired one. The form expired in 2021 and 2018 as well and USCIS didn't instantly uploaded a new one and people used the expired form with no issues.
  16. Soooo many Aprils! Haven't seen any Mays. We'll see about tomorrow too. I sure hope we see a big wave of shipment for us in the next shipment week (August 1st).
  17. It is, but on CEAC tracker you gotta select immigrant for it to work. The case number they provided starts with three letters representing your embassy + 10 numbers? You're checking it here, right?
  18. No need for an invoice ID. Check your status on CEAC by selecting immigrant.
  19. There is! I am assuming your NOA2 was either March or April?
  20. In the link above. Select immigrant (NOT non-immigrant). You have to have your NVC case number that starts with your embassy 3 letter code, not the WAC.
  21. Wait until it's ready – it means that it reached your embassy. Some embassies don't like you scheduling interviews without instructions from them, so check on that too.
  22. Sorry! I saw that page from the Argentinian embassy and it seemed too good not to link it haha first embassy that I see that even links their P3 on their website. Some don't have any specifics at all, mine has a page but not really the updated P3. And Philippines do seem to be like one of the most complicated ones, with even additional steps.
  23. First one. The difference between NOA2 and NVC received dates seems to be limited to 60 days. Should be higher or have no limit.
