  1. Oh wow, probably you're one of the only ones from the beginning of Feb in this range so I didn't catch that! It's crazy, since it's all paper based, I feel they sometimes just find lost boxes and get them into the system out of order! I tried to get the groups in sequence that had the majority of Feb cases in it, but it's always approximate with groups of 500 like that. Well, you won't need to check on January numbers then! haha and on the graph above you're on the first bar from Feb 2-6 as well.
  2. I think I am the only one that can see my hidden tabs when they are indeed hidden. It's a mess to be fair and I only don't leave it open because it's specific cases numbers. I know they're out in the public anyway, but just a little bit of courtesy for those cases. Here's an screenshot with what I usually do (made the case numbers hidden in white). Whenever I get an approved case, I check if they had an expedite request approved, if not, I just mark their number and approval date on the side. If you want I can share it with your gmail account personally.
  3. Not dumb at all, no worries. You are an early filer, so that means you're probably on a range with more January cases than February cases (probably 46000-46499). Since the majority of cases are from January, to save time I excluded this range knowing that January filers would scan it already. Same thing with range 56500, most cases are from March 22, not February, but there are some end of February there. Probably no February 1st cases are in the range I start with, that's why it says Feb 2, the earliest date I could find. It is really just a matter of saving time, unfortunately, since scripts and CaseTracker can't be precise and filter only Feb cases
  4. Hi, all! No need to thank me. I got this spreadsheet base from early 2022 groups, somehow the late 2022 groups don't really use it and prefer data to be posted in full here from their custom script. I did make some changes on the design and added a few more categories, so feel free to change it as well. It's great you're tracking this early, not a lot of movement now but it helps you understand so much. I wish I had started mine even earlier. I would just say to you to track expedites. I have a separate tab for it that I keep hidden for this. It's amazing to see how any approvals super early AREN'T expedited at all. I wonder what they know that we don't.
  5. Sorry! I can’t edit the post anymore but the graphic above should read “as of March 17th”. Forgot to change it.
  6. Ok, so I ran the numbers right now and what really surprised me was the numbers of RFE yesterday and today on ranges 48000 and 48500. There was even a "Request for Initial AND Additional Evidence Sent". That's a new one for me. Seems someone opened the 48000-48999 files just to check the incomplete ones and decided to send RFEs?! No idea. There was one approval though, not expedite, from a previous RFE. But the numbers didn't go up because an early approval was now sent back to USCIS by the department of state. Even though the RFEs surprised me, can't say they started February yet. Maybe next week, hopefully. Here are the numbers from today and a graphic whose idea I stole from @mw & rg k1/ @Ngillet, but mine is different because they use custom script. The (+x) means the difference from last week, March 10th. Full data is always found here. 112 Approved Cases 278 Denied/Rejected (+2) 18 RFE Sent and Received (+8) 2959 Untouched/Other Action 104 Withdrawals (+3)
  7. I don't use a script like the others, but I scan it weekly manually using the CaseTracker app. Later today or tomorrow I will scan the groups and add to my spreadsheet. And nope, no movement at all so far. Maybe in the next two weeks February will be touched!
  8. Glad I am not the only one that keeps a tab open and was updating today non-stop. We're all those anonymous cute animals there, just stalking the spreadsheet every day 👀 hahaha January is at 40% processed already, my heart can't contain the anxiety to see that 96 approved cases in February increase!
  9. I think it boils down maybe to system lags or maybe their definition of case complete? Crazy to see they worked more on denials in August 22 than on Feb 22 And I've seen terminated cases that happened to be "case close benefit received by other means" (K3s) before, but some go straight to termination. If you search for lawfully case status on the 'benefit received by other means' for 129-f, it says 100% become terminated after 51 days avg, but not super sure how they get those stats either.
  10. My received date is Feb 22, 2022 as well. Hoping we start seeing approvals next month. Follow the February 2022 K1 filers topic.
  11. It's just their fiscal year that ends in October, your receipt number is still 2022, don't worry too much! haha
  12. I wonder if it's cases they temporarily lost haha then they started the new 2023 receipt number and suddenly found a forgotten September case that needs to be entered into the system. (Isn't it crazy how this freaking thing is paper-based when it could all be digital!!!?) There are few late February cases along with some March groups as well, but I just don't consider them or else I'd have to track them individually to not skew my month data. It's always approximate to save time unfortunately, that's why I appreciate @Obllak's precise data on month's totals.
  13. Means cases with receipt number ending from 53500 to 53999. It's a common thing to group the cases by groups of 500 due to CaseTracker app (the max is 500 cases scanned per time). I use CaseTracker to scan the February cases (approximated because there are some January and March cases on the first and last ranges), but some people here use a custom script to do so, also in groups of 500. I see you're a September 22 filer, your range should even have one more number since it zeroes in October (I could be wrong haha, I only scan my month).
  14. No, they never *actively* worked on February until now, but for the past month there has been close to zero movement, just denied expedites, some case denials, and one expedited case approved. I even gave up on scanning my own group as often as I once did. I think in January there were a LOT of "case closed benefit received by other means" updated (K3s) and it gave me hope, but that was it. After that, silence.
  15. 53500. Unfortunately one of the biggest ranges and I am guessing it's because of President's Day holiday on the 21st, so all cases they got Friday to Monday have the Feb 22nd received date.
  16. Makes me so happy as a Feb 22 filer. My job better not know but whenever they start February, all my productivity will be out of the window.
  17. I'm getting spoiled. I get disappointed whenever I see anything less than 200 cases approved haha But if you see that we're in the middle of March and it's been already 2000+ cases processed... They will definitely hit 4k, 4.5k a month soon!
  18. The info I had from the start was that expedites do not delay your case, but I agree it’s proving to be the contrary I didn’t have a reason to so I didn’t request it, but feel bad for those that had a reason but were denied. And if you don’t mind me asking, what was your RFE for? I know some are super personal so no worries if you can’t share.
  19. I’m a February filer and I couldn’t be more excited also to see when they will start February! Haha I do think it will be around the 50% mark, and to me they are moving SUPER fast with January. Could be just a biased opinion since I definitely look at January in more detail, but it seems pretty fast. On the other hand, more than a month already with no significative movement in February 2022. Just one expedite case was approved and that’s it. Can’t wait to see the real activity start!
  20. Oh yeah, that does make sense. It means they did go with another route, the I-130 (and filed I-129f for the now rare K3) so they weren't qualified for K1 to begin with. I saw in another thread that K3 is so rare now that only 1 or 2 are approved by year.
  21. Yes, I think they can be either on "rejected" or "withdrawn" because they result in possibly the same amount of work from USCIS (just updating the case to close it), and that way there won't be another category for processed cases, especially because they are a bit rare (only 81 according to Obllak above). And even though the visa was granted, doesn't really take effect on 129-f approvals. I think I just prefer rejected but it's a personal preference – I definitely like to see the real withdrawals number to see how many people got into this and either decided to take another route or people whose relationship wasn't really strong enough to begin with to survive this process. It's tragic (even though it helps clear backlog) but I do pay attention to it, like a car crash you just need to look at (that sounds like an awful comparison, but it's true).
  22. Awesome, can't thank you enough for your work! And no rush at all as well.
  23. Ohh awesome to hear, I was wondering where those cases were falling. To me the "benefit received by other means" means that their I-130 was approved, so I count them as approved (honestly it's because CaseTracker App also counts them as approved) but I understand that in a detailed data like yours, those cases can skew the approved numbers. I haven't encounter any case that I assumed was a denied K3/I-130 in February 22 but I think there was one in December, I can be confused and I honestly don't remember the verbiage. Those should be super rare as well. It's hard to fit them in any category, but maybe for the sake of people not thinking a lot of approvals are K1 when they are actually being closed like that, you can put them in rejected and maybe if it's super necessary add a note/small table somewhere to count those and explain they are included in the rejected number. Beginning of las month there were 22 cases in Feb 2022 alone that were closed like that, and even though I count them as approved, I see that it skews the number up. I am glad that these are being considered now into the data too, so choose anywhere you feel more appropriate and that would be less work for you as well!
  24. I think it’s because they consider the ghost cases in this as well, and it’s also an estimative considering the last case of the month – worst case scenario. @Obllak would probably explain it better! Haha and while we’re at it, I do have a question. Do you consider the “case closed benefit received by other means” cases (probably K3s whose I-130f was approved) as processed cases as well?
  25. I can't even be sad because I certainly wasn't within marrying age in 2007 haha but how weird is to think they thought the 90 day processing time was frustrating. Here I am on day 380 and counting as well. The ex-employee also says they used to take calls to tell people about processing times, if they called because of 90 days, imagine 500. Would the early 2000 filers survive the 15.5 month estimate? Ugh, in a perfect world, all approvals would take the exact same time and be in perfect order. People don't seem to realize this isn't a perfect world, it's USCIS world and it's far from it! And congratulations to you both!
