Yeah, I agree we shouldn't worry too much as long as we see daily progress. But it's just weird. I guess we were all expecting it to go down seeing the numbers we're seeing? They say this is based on the time they took to process 80% of the cases for the past six months but makes no sense to me. The only reason I can think of is the inquiry date seeing November filers would be able to inquire in about 2 weeks and now it pushed them back 1 more month and that would be about 500 more angry people inquiring about their case. Let's hope we are not one of those unlucky ones

FEBRUARY 2022 I-129F K1 FILERS

Another great day for early February filers!! 46500 - 3 approvals, 1 RFE 47000 - 6 approvals 47500 - 9 approvals 48000 - 3 approvals, 6 RFEs 48500 - 12 approvals, 3 RFEs 49000 - 5 approvals, 7 RFEs 49500 - 2 approvals, 1 withdrawals 50000 - 1 withdrawal Totals for today: 40 approvals, 17 RFEs, 2 withdrawals Monthly total: 205(+40) Approved 279 Denied/Rejected 56(+17) RFEs/RFERs 2826 Other Action/Untouched 109(+2) Withdrawals Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15yTdQDjmS6ik3bPNGmThSc0jFUszsiGcXurI1hT_Jcw/edit?usp=sharing -
That’s frustrating. I checked the August, July and October cases that were approved yesterday and they also have the RFER status updated pretty recently and then the approval or denial. How long do you have to send back an evidence once you get an RFE? 30 days? Could it be super old RFEs that were just now responded? Or maybe USCIS only marked the receiving of those now? I can’t really see when the RFE was sent with lawfully. I hate not figuring out the USCIS mysteries haha
-
Oh, interesting. 14 cases. I saw Lawfully actually gives the receipt numbers and got curious, seems most of those got RFEs that were received by USCIS recently (can’t see when the RFE was sent though). One termination, some denials and 2 straight approvals (that definitely waited the whole 15.5 months). Could it be that they leave the longest, most difficult cases behind? Or it’s just super random and they’re just unlucky?
-
The case received is not the sum of cases, those are cases whose status are still as "received" so untouched cases. And most of those 16% are rejections and withdrawals though, so things that were rejected from the start or cases they didn't even need to look at. But yes, February is short in terms of days and honestly way shorter than the 4000+ cases of following months. Great numbers indeed!!! There's still so many left behind though, so hoping here we don't get stuck in the last 20% of our months.

Are you a K1 or spouse visa filer? I saw you posted on both forums. And the inquiry date for November 3rd K1 filing is April 3rd, contact them as soon as you can about your case. You can see the inquire date on the processing times page: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/home -

Ok, everyone. Working again, probably was one connection error on my end too. Now the full numbers. Seems the agent taking care of 48000-48999 is trying to hit some goals. 47500 - 5 approvals, 1 withdrawal 48000 - 6 approvals, 2 RFEs 48500 - 16 approvals, 6 RFEs 49000 - 5 approvals, 2 RFEs 52500 - 1 denial (from an expedited case), 1 RFE 54500 - 1 RFE (from an expedited case) Totals for today: 32 approvals, 1 denial, 11 RFEs, 1 withdrawal Monthly total: 165(+32) Approved 279(+1) Denied/Rejected 39(+11) RFEs 2890 Other Action/Untouched 107(+1) Withdrawals Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15yTdQDjmS6ik3bPNGmThSc0jFUszsiGcXurI1hT_Jcw/edit?usp=sharing -

Ok, everyone, seems CaseTracker or USCIS server is having issues so I will come back with full data whenever possible, but this is what I could gather from today. No movement on other groups and I couldn't track past 50500, but I don't think these groups really had any movement like yesterday. Seems the agent taking care of 48000-48999 is trying to hit some goals. 47500 - 5 approvals, 1 withdrawal 48000 - 6 approvals, 2 RFEs 48500 - 16 approvals, 6 RFEs 49000 - 5 approvals, 2 RFEs I partially updated the spreadsheet but will come back whenever the server gets stable again! -
Oh no, I’m definitely not one of those that have dates and venues set or deposits paid or dress fitted or invitations ready! I guess I stopped dreaming when processing times went from 8 months to 12 months then to 15.5. I said October because it’s now when I am predicting to be there getting married. Would be great to have an outdoor, small backyard wedding in October! Long sleeve dresses!! Haha And yes, we should start an off topic one to discuss random things! Maybe it will take our minds off obsessing with data! Hahahha

Wow, their work day started 10 minutes ago and there's already 16 new approved cases on range 48500 alone. Help. I will only run the full numbers when the day is over but wow. -

Bh_sarah replied to J&D1008's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Hey, February filers! Don't freak out... but it seems they just started working on our cases! Nothing that I would say that they actively started working on it because I expect more than 50 approvals per day when it happens, but it's a great sign nonetheless. Here's the new activity today (when it comes to approvals and RFEs). 46500 - 5 approvals, 1 RFE 47000 - 1 approval 47500 - 2 approvals 48000 - 2 approvals, 5 RFEs 48500 - 11 approvals, 4 RFEs 49000 - 1 RFE Totals for today: 21 approvals, 11 RFEs Month totals: 133 Approved Cases (+21) 278 Denied/Rejected Cases 28 RFEs/RFERs (+10) 2927 Other Action/Untouched 106 Withdrawals (+2) Please be mindful CaseTracker shows me approximate data and there could be manual mistakes from my end. I also count closed K3 cases as approved. Complete spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15yTdQDjmS6ik3bPNGmThSc0jFUszsiGcXurI1hT_Jcw/edit?usp=sharing -
Hi, no problem at all! Really. I appreciate you taking the time to reply in detail too. And that ship has sailed now! haha we sent out petition almost 400 days ago, and at first we were a bit confused and trusted a lawyer. I am still very skeptical and after everything I learned on my own here from experienced members and past filers, he will be a goner pretty soon if he messes up going forward. And I'm not claiming it's necessary to include additional evidence, or that you are saying I'm getting a RFE, not at all. Please don't take it like that. This is just my curiosity when I encountered this thread and your message, because even though I understand a lot of people just send huge and useless evidence, I always thought USCIS cared about verifying bonafide relationships as well. This is definitely a great advice for the OP of this topic. And thank you! I do hope even though I sent more than what they asked, that it wasn't too long or confusing, since I carefully selected communications of future plans/marriage and family and of us wanting to meet during the first years but not being able to during covid times (along with the evidence of us meeting 2 years before filing, just to be clear!). Appreciate your answers and I also wish you the best with the rest of your K1 visa (and AOS and all the rest as well) since I remember you from a thread about trying to get your fiancé out of Cuba with urgency – glad it's working out so far!

Thank you. I think I understand your point about the difference between a proof of intent to marry and a proof of relationship, even though "you did not submit any documentary evidence to support your statements" part of the RFE confuses me. And some people do include every tiny bit of useless private information in their files. My letters of intent to marry were also as simple as yours, one for each of us, signed. That RFE was just very unusual to me due to the fact the letters were sent correctly, but USCIS still needed more proof both parties were still with ongoing plans (maybe because of the processing times?). It's hard to know what they are looking for if sometimes they ask proof apart from what is required, thing we thought only the embassy would be interested in knowing more about. I still think every case is unique, and some agents even approved cases where only one letter was sent/the couple signed only one letter instead of each their own. I wouldn't include our 2 years of messages to bore any and every agent, but I'm still a bit on the side of front loading your case with a tiny bit more of evidence, especially for online relationships or for high-fraud countries. We were very much into our relationship and with a marriage mindset from the start, but the fact we didn't meet personally for the first 2 years and then got engaged the first time we met in a 3rd country (our families weren't involved at all in this meeting and I know it can all sound a bit naive) made us a bit apprehensive to be fair, so we did include a bit more than USCIS asked for hoping we would avoid an RFE.

I am still waiting for NOA2 but found this thread interesting, wanted to see your opinion on something. I did send proof of bonafide relationship within my K1 petition, as per lawyer's advice. Didn't send 100 pages of WhatsApp conversations, but I did send call logs, and key messages from our chats, such as our first messages ever on a dating website, when we started getting romantic, intention to meet (we couldn't meet at first due to covid restrictions), first I love you's, intention to get marry/form a family, probably 5 pages max. And yes, I included boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel reservations, and pictures of when we finally met in a 3rd country (that was about 2 months before filing, so within the 2 years). I understand that in theory, USCIS just want to know if you are qualified/eligible for the visa and met all the requirements, but more and more this advice is being given by immigration lawyers and immigration agencies. One of my main reasons to suspect that is the RFE for intention to marry when BOTH beneficiary and petitioner sent separate letters and signed them (so the letters aren't the reason). See the thread below from January. I saw many other pictures of this specific RFE when there isn't any issues with the letters, they really want proof of ongoing relationship, and it's my understanding everyone that gets this RFE showed proof of meeting, so that's not that they are asking for. Also attaching a screenshot of an interesting take from one of most "supreme" members of VJ. I am not sure if this started now because of covid or because processing times became absurd, or because of the nature of online relationships, but I don't know if I would say only proof of meeting is enough for some USCIS officers, even if yours was approved without anything else apart from it. And sorry that you got banned from the Facebook group, that was childish. One more reason to never join any K1 FB group for me!

Just to add that it's probably rejections from cases just filed in March, they usually are rejected from the start (about 250-300 are rejected from the start every month). Most rejections I see are because of wrong form filed, wrong amount of money sent and forms not signed properly. I think the number is specifically high for weekends because it's just mail they are receiving and sending during these days, not actual case processing. That's why there are only rejections/denials/RFEs/withdrawals during weekends, even though they really worked this weekend on those, highest number I've ever seen (and still waiting for Sunday numbers!) Shouldn't worry about denials of cases from months that are being actively processed right now, they are usually the minority and it's probably because of something major, like an RFE that couldn't be proved (example: they asked for a divorce paper and the couple couldn't produce it because one of them is still married, etc). I could be wrong but that's how I read it. Anyway... I will definitely wait for precise numbers tomorrow from @Obllak and I *do not* want to jinx it... but I am pretty sure they just started February. I'm running the first ranges and there are so so so many approvals from today already...

FEBRUARY 2022 I-129F K1 FILERS
Bh_sarah replied to J&D1008's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
I saw an approval also for a Feb 1st case and just thought to myself it's random because they're too close to January. I'm scanning other ranges superficially and it's blowing my mind how many are being approved today. It does seem they started February, I just don't want to jinx it yet! haha I will scan it fully once their work day is over, will post here later. Good luck everyone! -
OCTOBER 2022 I-129F K1 FILERS
Bh_sarah replied to J&D1008's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Ohhh thank you! Nothing too important to be fair, as I started manually tracking Feb in May 2022, some cases of February were already approved by then and I had no idea to know if they were expedited cases (even though one assumes they are). I just found out Lawfully shows me a case history, if I’m curious I will get past approvals there to just check them out. Some in June and other early months weren’t on my expedited tracking, so I might check them too. It’s just interesting to see that some cases get approved super early with no expedite record. Don’t know if they never got their expedited requests on the system, or if they know someone there to bypass waiting times, or if they just lucked out. All just my curiosity! Haha if I come across a curious case I can’t understand the history, I will let you know! It’s great you keep it in the database. But not a priority at all. -
OCTOBER 2022 I-129F K1 FILERS
Bh_sarah replied to J&D1008's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Only when I see a request received or approved, I don’t really take note of the denied ones. I’m not sure if the custom script has the option to see the case history/past actions, but CaseTracker overwrites them (so when one gets approved, I can’t know if it was expedited before). That’s why I take note of them. -

Hm, denied expedite requests don’t change your received date at all (only if you sent the expedite along with your i-129f form? Not even sure if this is possible!). What’s the received date on your NOA1 letter? If it’s February 1, that’s the date you should focus on, forget about the expedite denial.
