Had my Oath Ceremony in Chicago on Thursday Sept 22. They allowed one adult guest per person. I wasn't sure if the limitations and brought two extra people to the ceremony and they allowed them to come into the room after they realized that there are still available seats. Everyone was in great spirits and the officers were super friendly. The judge said a few wholesome words before the ceremony and then after we all recited the oath, we received our certificates. They didn't allow photos in the courtroom but we were directed to the museum on a different floor and that's where everyone took pictures.

So relieved that my immigration journey is finally complete, and best of luck to everyone still waiting 💕

congratulations!! Noticed you are from Russia, hope your folks and other relatives if they're still there are doing better.

    I had my interview today.

It was extremely fast and easy, very polite officer. In total, it took around 10 minutes.

After the standard questions + civics test, I was not asked for a single document.

Oath ceremony will be scheduled in a month or two since I have a name change request.

Thanks VisaJorney for all the help! The journey is finally over.

Filed Jan 15, bio reuse Jan 18, dead ever since! PHL FO! Every time I call or chat thru Emma it is the same (I think they are getting annoyed by me lol).
I am happy for everyone and want to be excited for myself too (I know, selfish )

I hope everyone from Jan 2022 will get their interviews by the end of the August!

I'm with you. Waiting at San Antonio office. Too lazy to call. Still waiting. I made a mistake though, I put my name under my "wife:" name in the application. Hopefully I can correct it during interview time. Do you think I should call ahead?

    Good Morning,

I’m scheduled for N400 interview August 15th. I didn’t get a notification via text or email. I found out when I refresh my USCIS case tracker app this morning.

Please I would really appreciate if you guys can tell me how to prepare, what version of USCIS Civic test should I use and what platform I can use to learn the US History, Constitution ETC.

    Thank you.

I think there are plenty of resources. Maybe search reddit or even this forum in google. "USCIS Civic test preparation reddit" .. something like that

I and my wife applied online on Jan 15 2022. Today my wife got USCIS update that her interview is scheduled for June 23 in Hartford office. I have not received anything. Hopefully something soon for me as well. Looks like the final few weeks as Permanent Resident.

Note: we applied under 5 year eligibility after getting green card.

Hope you'll get yours soon. I know somebody applied at Dec 10 and got interview notice today.
