    I'm asking because, a few months ago, my fiance asked if he could be with me and they said yes. Now we wanted to confirm, but the consulate is not responding. Do you have any idea about it?

      I'm the petitioner yes.

       

      I didn't attend the interview.

       

      I heard sometimes they don't let them in, even if they get a confirmation email.

       

      Kinda weird.

    Thanks for the details. I had messaged them 2 times already. Last email came in on February 17th 2023. We knew that the Carnaval week was probably going to be a none-action week, but looking at your timeline gave us some hope 😂. I'll wait until Monday and see. Hopefully we hear something by then.

    Awesome. Thank you so much. If you see my timeline, our case was sent to the Rio embassy at the same time, and we got the same Interview date. Unfortunately we still haven't received anything from the consulate. We hope to hear something either tomorrow or next week.😢.

    I was able to Fill out the DS-160 and also book the interview appointments with just the Case number. Our case is for Brazil though, so maybe its different for other countries. Remember, K1 visa is an Immigrant Visa, not a non-immigrant visa. This is the URL [ https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx ]

    Hello, Good evening! I recently booked my K1 visa interview for Rio de Janeiro, and I found it very weird that their interview date changed from Tuesday's to Monday's for April 2023 interviews. Anyone has an idea why this is? 🤔 Could it be because of holidays for the month of April?

      My fiancée booked the 10th as well.

       

      It's very weird that all of a sudden the K1 interview dates were for Monday's. 

       

      All this time they've only interviewed for Tuesday's, for K1 cases.

       

      Weird right?

      I found it a little weird too, but I've seen other random days of the week on other brazilians' timelines before.

    Are they doing Monday interviews now? I thought it was only on Tuesdays.

    Interesting how some cases are sent in 3 weeks while others wait about 6 weeks. Weird right 🤔. Overall, I think on Friday next week I'll send an email to NVC to see how my case is going.
