  1. So just submit, correct? Yes, he's going to live with me. I will go ahead and file the application. Thank you everyone for your help.
  2. Now I am really confused. All this time I was gathering and uploading the AOS documents but I was wrong all this time because they only need his docs? So I don't need to upload anything AOS related because that's not required, where would I know where to get extra civil docs for him because the only two required docs; passport bio page and the birth certificate which I already translated. This is what I have in my main screens once I login to the NVC site.
  3. Oh I didn't know this, and yes I am a USC but I couldn't go down the CRBA route due to lack of the 5 year rule at the time of his birth. Once he gets here, how can I apply for his passport? I was kind of confused when I saw the "exempt" in the NVC profile. I just need to gather the documents normally?
  4. He's under the I-130 and he's 16 months. I paid the immigration visa fee but the other one was waived.
  5. Hi, finally had my son's I-130 approved and the application has been sent to the NVC. When I tried to pay the fee I only saw the one ($325), the other fee was $120+ was showing as exempt next to it. Is that normal? Now I'm starting to upload his documents. With so much info around, can you guys share with me what civil documents and financial docs I need? Because of the AOS exempt does that mean I dont need the i864?
  6. Hi, how do you know? I keep checking https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ but it only gives estimates of the total needed for the actual approval.
  7. I tried to go with DCF route but I was told that we don't qualify and was cornered to apply for an i-130.
  8. Exactly, I already tried numerous times with the local consulate but they didn't want to help and told me they only can help relatives of US personal that are on an official mission in Morocco. So I sent his i-130 and I thought we could stay for a little bit with him, eventually we had to come to the state so my wife's visa stamp doesn't expire, and right before we left my mother passed away (that was plan A for him to stay with her) so now I don't have anyone from my family to care for him except those relatives. I only file the i-130 after I was denied the special consideration.
  9. It is Morocco. I will try what you suggested and see where this goes. I even tried to get a letter from my son's doctor with her recommendation to not separate him from his mother while we were there but she refused to give me one, stating that she can't give recommendation.
  10. I posted asking for guidance here, and I followed what I was told. I didn't know I could wave the visa to accompany his mother after she got her visa.
  11. There was no way to slow down the process, all what was left is the interview and he was born little over a month before it. During that month, I have called the embassy what it felt like a 100 times asking for consideration and pleading my case but I was always getting the same answer and the consulate wouldn't even pass me a US employee, it was always a local employee.
  12. She did receive her 10 years GC, but we'd like to have our son with us.
