  1. Ultradocs? Or USTraveldocs? I have no clue what Ultradocs is.
  2. All i can find on the USTraveldocs website is, available appointments are updated on a 'rolling basis, based on the level of demand". We are in the same situation, at the Bangkok, Thailand US Embassy
  3. If the Manilla embassy has already received your file, then I don't think you need to worry about the K1-FTP letter.
  4. You can also include Form G-1145 with your I-129F, if you want to receive email notification when USCIS receives your I-129F. (they will also mail the I-797C)
  5. Send back what exactly? Here's the link to our "packet 3 & 4". I don't see anything about signing and "sending back" anything in particular. Maybe I'm misunderstandng. https://th.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/90/Bangkok-K-Visa-Instructions-English-June-2022.pdf
  6. She will need a document from the court that confirms she has full custody or permission to take the child out of the country permanently.
  7. Am I missing something from a different thread? I don't see him mention that the I-129f has not been approved.
  8. I wouldn't worry about the age difference, from the Visa perspective. But, from the family perspective, understand that his 18y/o kid might have a hard time accepting that his/her father is marrying a woman close to the kid's age.
  9. There was recently a much older woman posting here, stating that her visa for a much younger male was approved.
  10. Most court clerks DON'T have anything better to do. If you ask for it, it's their job to do it. It's precisely what they are paid to do...
  11. I agree with SneakyPete, and I believe the I-129f INSTRUCTIONS PDF file confirms/clarifies this, as well. We had a hell of a time getting our translation company to put the certification wording that Pete showed on the translated documents. Translation company insisted that their company stamp would be enough. Eventually, we had to tell them to add the statement or stop getting paid. At the end of the day, you can even have a bilingual friend or family member do the translation, as long as they put the certification statement on the document.
  12. I understand that completing the I-129f is a bit stressful. My advise is to not overthink things, too much. On the USCIS website, there is an instruction PDF. Just follow what it says. (I found many website from Visa-assistance companies and Immigration lawyers that had very incorrect information). If you follow the instructions, you will meet all of the requirements and you will avoid overdoing anything. I put passport photos in a ziplock bag and paperclipped it in my packet.
  13. Yes, case will be at NVC, until the foreign embassy is ready to take it.
  14. I'm curious how much the certified copy costs your fiancee. For me, in Washington state, it's only $6 for a certified copy.
  15. Our NOA2 said it would take a couple weeks to get to the foreign embassy (Bangkok, Thailand). Next day, I had an email inviting us to schedule the interview.
  16. I HATE having blood drawn, as well. I turn white as a sheet, just anticipating it. Several times, I've almost fainted. I would rather get revaccinated.
  17. Our case took about 4 months to go from USCIS to NVC. On 7/20, I received email from NVC, notifying us that our case was being forwarded to Bangkok Embassy and that it would take 2-3 weeks before it would arrive in Bangkok. The next day (7/21), I got an email notifying me that we could schedule the interview.
  18. The county office that your fiance is getting the Divorce Decree from should be able to certify it. There will likely be an additional fee.
  19. It took 4.5 months after NOA2 before our case was received by NVC and assigned a case number. So, those of you who received NOA2 in May, just wait patiently. All timelines are longer than usual.
  20. I (petitioner) just got my notice today, in my email, providing me with the NVC case number and informing that our petition was being forwarded from NVC to the US Embassy in Bangkok. I did not send them an inquiry for the case number. I just waited patiently. My previous notice (by mail) was at the end of March. So, it can be several months before you get the email with your case number.
  21. Thank you for politely pointing out my error. You are absolutely correct; I gave inaccurate information. It looks like Canada also does require transit passengers to obtain a transit visa. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=420&top=16
  22. Transiting through an intermediate country is not the same as entering that intermediate country.
