    ROB time?

For the record you can do the ROB and passport on the same day but not at the same time because they are done by different departments. You first do the ROB (say in the morning )and once they have processed it then you can do the passport in the afternoon.
  3. Then tell him to petition promptly. As long as your previous denial wasn't for fraud, it won't have any impact on your fiancee visa
  4. Get married ASAP and file for adjustment of status. Do not leave for any reason until you receive your greencard
  5. My now wife's interview was on Jan 17th a few years back and her visa was not issued until the first week of March so don't get to far ahead of yourself because you just don't know what might happen.
  6. All evidence submitted to the USCIS needs to be in English or accompanied by an English translation. Proof of relationship is not required for petition approval. Letters are very poor evidence anyway. Concentrate on better evidence.
  7. I think over the past 4 years or so, I think my now wife is about the only one who was asked for the I134 during the interview
  8. If you just submitted, unfortunately the USCIS won't "asking" anybody anything for many many many months.
  9. The Department of State is not bound to follow what the USCIS does. However in this situation they do. The following is from the DOS website... The translation must include a statement signed by the translator stating that: The translation is accurate, and The translator is competent to translate. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html#:~:text=Please note that all documents,be accompanied by certified translations. We also know that some consulates sometimes go rogue. Apparently this is the situation here.
  10. You can't consulate shop based on any perceived wait times. Your choice typically is limited to your country of residence or nationality.
  11. Are you sure? Page 6 of the instructions for the I130 is certainly clear about it.
  12. Engaged is not a legal status. You are still single until married
  13. My wife switched and showed her expired card and extension notice. Easy peasy.
  14. No. The medical and vaccine information is already in the file. Typically you are together. Each interviewer has their own style but the will ask questions about the application and whatever else they are interested in
