  1. Doesn't change the fact that the "solution" being suggested was a big hot mess
  2. I believe the lawer's "solution" is a much bigger scam than the Mexican divorce thst isn't.
  3. I suggest you visit the Russia, Ukraine and Belarus regional forum as the Warsaw option is discused quite a lot already. With that said, NVC will not be sending you any kind of welcome package nor will they be requesting anything from you or your fiancee. The extent of NVCs communication with you will be limited to an email informing you of your new case number and informing you that the petition has been forwarded to the assigned Consulate. The K1 is 100% applicant driven so don't expect any assistance from the Consulate other than a set of instructions to be followed. All required documents are hand carried by the applicant and given to the consular on the day of the interview.
  4. The not requesting of the I134 has been something the consulate has been doing for many years. It seems like they only request it about 10% of the time (my wife was asked so we were in the 10%) so it your experience was very typical.
  5. I just looked, California is reporting 16 months. Where did you see 6 months?
  6. Continuous communication doesn't make you eligible for a K1. Seeing each other face to face within the previous two years potentially would make you eligible to be petitioned for.
  7. Complete it to the best of your ability. If she doesn't remember, then she doesn't remember. When i prepared the petition for my wife, i put the name of the business and the city along with approximate dates if employment because she could not remember anything more.
  8. The chances of a bare bulb interrogation is the same at either port of entry. Do us all a favor and look up the two port orocessing wait times to determine what is best for you because time of day has a significant impact https://awt.cbp.gov/
  9. Generally speaking, if you are eligible to file either petition TODAY the spouse visa is a couple months faster. If you are eligible to file the I129f today but not the I130 then you should factor in the time it takes to actually complete the marriage process and get all needed documents from the PI. This will add a significant amount of time to the spouse visa and may tip the speed scale in favor of the k1. Speed is only one factor to make your visa decision on and in my mind not the most important one.
  10. If it were me I would opt for the 5 year eligibility
  11. What consulate? The i134 is typically hand carried and present at the interview.
  12. First of all, the USCIS isn't involved anymore. My had no such letter when she interviewed in Manila
  13. Google "USCIS processing times" and input the information. I think it is right now about 16 months
  14. DS 160 valid for up to one year MRV fee valid up to one year Medical is valid for 6 months from the day the medical was done Medical needs only be valid on the day of entry. That's why the visa will expire on the day the medical expires. No requirement for post entry validity.
  15. Did you provide proof of any vaccinations? Did you receive a DS 3025?
  16. I don't think you understand that a k1 doesn't have a vaccination requirement. The vaccintion requirement comes during AOS. OP is good to go for the k1 but needs it for AOS
  17. This was an unfortunate mistake. It will now likely cost you much more in the end.
  18. I wouldn't worry about it. This is will have no impact on your entry
  19. For vaccinations that require a series, you do not need to be complete but in process.
  20. You need to explain your conclusions. We did a k1 and did not lose anything
  21. Your petition not your visa was approved. Important difference that you need to understand. Manila has the k1 visa instructions posted online. Find them and follow them. Secondly, find the Philippines regional forum here on VJ. Ask your Manila questions in that forum as Manila has its own unique requirements and your questions will be more accurately answered if asked there.
