  1. Your visa has not been approved in Aug, your petition was. It is important to understand this in order to get accurate answers. Since the medical has an expiration date, i would be cautious about scheduling a medical to far in advance of the interview because the date of the medical will impact the visa expiration date.
  2. Your k1 medical is valid for AOS. You will need to find a civil surgeon to transcribe your vaccinations. For vaccinations that are in a series, you can be in process.
  3. That was all my wife said was etravel 72 hours before departure
  4. I would ask the hotel staff for recommendations
  5. Nope, nor will you have a package to hand carry to the US port of entry
  6. My wife an daughter are departing next week. I will advise if anything odd is needed.
  7. Nothing in these threads indicate what exactly was submitted initially particularly how any statement was worded.
  8. This is a DIY site. The overwhelming majority here have done it successfully themselves.
  9. Documents relating to the US citizen
  10. First of all, as it relates to the petition, country of beneficiary does not matter. Anybody can submit a poorly krafted statement of intent and receive a RFE. I am one who was approved with only a two sentence statement. Kraft it properly you will be fine
  11. You need to have it in your back pocket just in case. Just an FYI, your income is not your gross receipts but your net income after expenses so the $53k is not your income. It is an urban legend that Manila won't consider liquid assets in lieue of income. Manila just doesn't put a lot of emphasis on the I134 because it is non binding
  12. I believe the USCs civil documents can be photocopies
  13. If you are freaking out after just a week of silence then the wait for approval will give you an ulcer. Just relax.
  14. A careful read of the instructions will indicate that any evidence submitted to the USCIS shall be legible photocpies unless an original id SPECIFICALLY requested. As an aside, not sure why you are wanting to submit this kind of evidence. You will get zero credit for this evidence during the petition process and your Consulate is London which is not a difficult place to interview with.
  15. You may never hear from them. Have you searched the Dakar embassy website? Most consulates have instructions online as scheduling an interview is scheduled by the applicant
  16. As for vaccinations, nothing to overly concern yourself with. You will not be the first pregnant person the panel physician (not civil surgeon) will have seen for a visa medical. The biggest concern you need to think about is the chest xray and whether you are comfortable with the precautions.
  17. Look at the section of the petition where the "Circumstances of meeting" is asked and look at the amount of space that is provided for the response. This is an indication of the length of your response. Mine was three sentences. Proof of a relationship is NOT a requirement for petition approval.
  18. The only way to know is to contact the Consulate and see if they approve or deny. If they deny then it will cost you some time, but you are already behind for service center processing .
