Sasha and I met in North Carolina while I was vacationing and she was on a work exchange program. I fell in love with her the minute our eyes met, she actually blushed and looked away. We spent the week together and then I had to get back to DC where I live. We kept in touch via e-mail and short calls and ended up seeing each other again before she left. Eight months passed, our only means of communication was e-mail...one day I received an e-mail saying that maybe things had changed, after all it had been eight months. I bought a plane ticket for three days later and flew to kiev for the weekend to surprise her...and so here we are, engaged, and waiting...
