  1. Yeah filing for the extra evidence was the main reason I was thinking. Don't want to regret not doing something down the line when it could be helpful. Thanks for your input!

S/O flew here to US and married in August 2023 Staying in Calfornia Had income in Canada before marriage, but no income since arriving in US Did not receive green card until Feb 2024 I didn't have any income for 2023, and she hasn't had income since marriage So no sure if filing taxes is needed as income was only before marriage, her home was in Canada, and she didn't have a green card until this year Saw some people filed jointly, some separately Saw Form 8958 and Form 2555 mentioned Any help would be greatly appreciated
