  1. More waiting!! LOL Hopefully you get your interview dates soon. I got DQ on April 21st and am waiting for interview date (Honduras).
  2. Hi All Just want to update I just got DQ (4/21). Received the email a couple minutes before 12AM! So happy!! Good luck to everyone else!
  3. Ah yes I see, thanks for clarifying that. Though we did decide to apostille either way as we have heard from others getting RFI for it specifically other people submitting to Honduras.
  4. Thanks for the update! Helpful to know the review time. I am so glad my wife ended up getting the police record apostilled now that I read this (Honduras). They don't ask for apostilled on the NVC site but it seems to be up to the person reviewing the documents! Good luck!
  5. You can upload what you already have but wait to submit everything together until you have the final document. I submitted DS-260 and waited for a couple civil documents but once I had everything I submitted it together.
  6. I can't believe they would make you change that, hope you get approved soon!
  7. Hello Please add me I just submitted all my documents to the NVC today 4/10. Thanks!
  8. Did you go thru NVC stage, did you translate anything for them before the interview?
  9. Hello I am getting my wife's documents ready for Honduras we have everything they are requesting (Police certificate, criminal record, Birth Folio). On the NVC site it states "Please note that all documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country from which you are applying, must be accompanied by certified translations". The documents are in the official language (Spanish) and upon checking the Tegucigalpa US Embassy consulate page they also state that the consulate does not require a translation. Two Questions: In that case would I be fine just uploading these documents without English translation or would you recommend I still translate them? Depending on the feedback if I do have to translate them, am I able to translate them myself and just put the statement saying I am bilingual and get it notarized by my local bank? Thank you
  10. Thanks for confirming that as well. My my wife is going to be getting the documents herself.
  11. Yes I have checked that page, but I was just trying to see if any recent applicants have gone thru this. I found some old posts for Honduras but no new ones, I will just guide myself of that page and hope not to get an RFE.. sometimes NVC is not very clear. thanks though!
  12. Hello Does anyone have experience or tips on getting these documents in HONDURAS? I know the “Constancia de Antecedentes” has to be obtained from DPI in Tegucigalpa. A lawyer trying to charge a crazy amount to get this and saying it needs to be apostilled? On the NVC site it does not say anything about it being apostilled. Can my wife just go to DPI and get this document in Tegucigalpa- will the NVC approve? As for the birth folio, this is different from the actual birth certificate you can get from San Pedro Sula right? I have read it has to be obtained from Tegucigalpa or the actual place of birth. Thanks
  13. I read somewhere that technically tax forms count as this as well, 401k statement or uploading pic of ID showing address? Aside from a lease or electric bill what are others uploading to show proof of domicile?
  14. Thank you! It helps to have support from others as well but yes we will be done with this soon and it will be worth it!
  15. Update, I received my case number early morning. Logged in to the NVC site and I scheduled the payment for the fees! So far so good!
  16. So actually I just received an update that my case was sent to the NVC today!
  17. Of course! So on the case status tab on USCIS it says March 8th they approved my application and sent me a notice. When I open up the approval PDF it says my case was sent to NVC and that one is dated March 7th. Is the case status tab supposed to get updated when they send it over? It's good to hear that! I also have done all this by myself with patience and making sure all the details are filled... so far we are on a good track now we just have to receive that welcome email, hopefully soon!
  18. Oh wow! Sorry to hear that! It’s definitely strange that they would just send you one letter but maybe they process those differently? Who knows. I get how you’re feeling, at this point I also just want to continue and get this all completed. Hopefully you hear back soon, let’s keep updating on here. I was approved for the I-130 on the 7th, but the date approved actually shows the 8th. I’m hoping I get that welcome email some time next week!
  19. Hello Have you gotten the other welcome email yet? Or have you done any sort of contact with the NVC about it? I am still waiting for mine.
  20. Thank you both this information is going to help me a lot when organizing my documents.
  21. Thanks this will help a lot in preparing! One more question, for the beneficiary documents did you use the same one's that you submitted for I-130 or did you get new one's? Thanks for your input.
  22. Oh okay! So basically welcome letter is the first step, pay fees is the second step and then it lets you start working on submission. What kind of documents do you have ready? I'm trying to get mine ready but haven't found a good guide on what NVC asks for. Hopefully you get the other welcome letter soon!
