Hello
I am getting my wife's documents ready for Honduras we have everything they are requesting (Police certificate, criminal record, Birth Folio).
On the NVC site it states "Please note that all documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country from which you are applying, must be accompanied by certified translations".
The documents are in the official language (Spanish) and upon checking the Tegucigalpa US Embassy consulate page they also state that the consulate does not require a translation.
Two Questions:
In that case would I be fine just uploading these documents without English translation or would you recommend I still translate them?
Depending on the feedback if I do have to translate them, am I able to translate them myself and just put the statement saying I am bilingual and get it notarized by my local bank?
Thank you
