  1. Do watch the Inquiry date closely .... not long ago the Est processing time jumped in the longer direction, pushing out the Inquiry date, and some that could have submitted an inquiry had to wait (again) ... Best case, you get your approval or an RFE soon. Next best, maybe the Est processing time shortens (seems unlikely) Finally, Inquire the first date you can using that form
  2. unfortunately, short stick. If I were you ... monitor the case inquiry date on the bottom of this page after selecting I129F, K1, California and be ready to submit an inquiry the first day you are permitted. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Currently, Dec 1 is allowed on June 15. I know it sucks but be sure to Inquire using this form the day you can (if not approved before) and never do an expedite. Then you get to join us waiting (in the dark) at the NVC step.
  3. Hello Dec Visa Family. It is looking like RFE/RFER is becoming the new major group of people after this week. I will run the reports for the next few weeks at least but not really expecting new data, so look for them on Fridays. As for my normal scan: Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on April 29 2023: 3 Changes on May 1 2023: 33 Changes on May 2 2023: 30 Changes on May 3 2023: 8 Changes on May 4 2023: 21 Changes on May 5 2023: 13 Changes on May 6 2023: 7 DEC 1-3: Approved: 3 Denied: 1 RFE/RFER: 6 RFER->Denial: 1 RFER->Approval: 2 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Approved: 7 Denied: 3 RFE/RFER: 11 RFER->Denial: 3 RFER->Approval: 6 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Approved: 9 Denied: 1 RFE/RFER: 9 RFER->Denial: 1 RFER->Approval: 9 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Approved: 21 Denied: 3 RFE/RFER: 22 RFER->Denial: 2 RFER->Approval: 11 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Approved: 9 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 7 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 7 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0
  4. usually a form letter saying not received, shipping times may be longer, wait more before asking again
  5. Getting close to where running a burndown report doesn't make sense anymore. Burndown looks at unopened cases that were opened in some way .... Approval, Denal, RFE, transfered, something. This is from Last Friday to today (friday) and is seeming to be so few numbers that it may not be work posting. I this as we can see, over the last week, a total of only 64 cases across ALL of 2021 were opened. Individual week counts of "unopened" cases are well below 100 per week. If you really want to see more of this chart, please let me know or I think I might discontinue showing it Max (previously untouched) cases opened : 14 Occurring week of: 2021-12-03 Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 63 Week.....Was...Now...Delta..Approved..Denied..RFE Prev.......272....265........7............0..............1.........6 10/01.....14......14.........0............0...............0.........0 10/08......5........5..........0............0...............0.........0 10/15.....12......11.........1............1...............0.........0 10/22.....13......10.........3............0...............0.........3 10/29.....18......13.........5............4...............0.........1 11/05.....40......39.........1............0...............0.........1 11/12.....52......49.........3............3...............0.........0 11/19.....38......31.........7............2...............0.........5 11/26.....23......19.........4............1...............0.........3 12/03.....36......22........14...........9...............0.........4 12/10.....22......21.........1............1...............0.........0 12/17.....36......34.........2............1...............0.........1 12/24.....75......62........13..........11..............0.........2 12/31.....64......62.........2............1...............0.........1
  6. End of the week report ... This compares Friday 7pm PST to Wed 7pm PST It is good to see that RFEs are being worked on ... That said, they also make up a significant number of overall cases activity. Lets continue to hope for better numbers Changes on April 27 2023: 20 Changes on April 28 2023: 29 Changes on April 29 2023: 2 Report of significant changes since 2023_04_26 December Totals: Untouched:197 Approved:27 Denied:2 RFE/RFER:21 RFER->Approval:19 (incl in Approved) RFER->Denial:2 (incl in Denied) DEC 1-3: Untouched:11 Approved: 4 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 2 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 3 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 2 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:24 Approved: 6 Denied: 1 RFE/RFER: 1 RFER->Denial: 1 RFER->Approval: 4 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 3 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:35 Approved: 9 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 5 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 6 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:64 Approved: 7 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 9 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 5 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:63 Approved: 1 Denied: 1 RFE/RFER: 4 RFER->Denial: 1 RFER->Approval: 1 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0
  7. As of last count there was 10 that were sent back for review. Of these 9 can be easily found in case tracker showing the 2023 dates. One (later in this message) was requested to Expedite but that was denied(generally a bad idea) Occurrence count is not high ... but unfortunately, it seems to suggest that you will have to wait for Inquiry date to get them to review it (or maybe get a congressman involved) .... 8. Very late on posting my Wed Update (sorry for that) but the data was taken as usual at 7PM PST. This data compares observed changes from Monday 7PM PST to Wed 7PM PST. As has been the trend, unfortunately processing remains very low for December cases. If you are still waiting for a NOA2 - Wishing you the best and hopes that it happens well before the inquiry date. For those that have gotten a NOA2 - Please let us know what your NOA2 date was and when you received a NVC Case Number That is the next (unfortunate) delay in the process with little to no visibility (or way to automate checking the actual dates) Best Processing Day April 25 2023 of 20 updates Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on April 25 2023: 20 Changes on April 26 2023: 18 Changes on April 27 2023: 1 Report of significant changes since 2023_04_24 December Totals: Untouched:203 Approved:19 Denied:0 RFE/RFER:18 RFER->Approval:9 (incl in Approved) RFER->Denial:0 (incl in Denied) DEC 1-3: Untouched:12 Approved: 2 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 0 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 2 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:24 Approved: 3 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 4 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 3 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 4 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:36 Approved: 2 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 7 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 2 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 2 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:67 Approved: 10 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 4 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 2 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:64 Approved: 2 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 3 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 2 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0
  9. Posting the burndown (a look at untouched cases) for the past week. While the numbers are low (in general), there is evidence that the untouched cases are being worked through. 10. My Friday report (which compares from Thurs since I did a late run at 4pm to 7pm Friday) You will notice that my Untouched total is significantly higher than @Ngillet as I consider "(name/address/etc) Updated" as a petitioner event but not actually opening the case for processing. Similar, "Expedite Denied" means that USCIS isn't actually working on it either. Finally "Case Was Reopened" means they had closed it but are back into a "wait to process state" When you add these together, there are still an unfortunate number of cases still waiting. Anyway, as for a single day of processing, this is rather good numbers (and mostly approvals which is also good) Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on April 21 2023: 28 Changes on April 22 2023: 6 Report of significant changes since 2023_04_20 December Totals: Untouched:217 Approved:17 Denied:2 RFE/RFER:14 RFER->Approval:7(incl in Approved) RFER->Denial:2 (incl in Denied)
  11. Sorry for the late post, My PC crashed yesterday so wasn't able to run the normal 7PM PST report. This therefore is from ~4:30PST Thursday as compared to Monday. Seemed to be enough activity to do a longer report. Hope we see lots of activity tonight and tomorrow (next run will be Friday 7PM PST and compares to Today - Thursday 4:30pm) Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on April 18 2023: 42 Changes on April 19 2023: 28 Changes on April 20 2023: 18 Report of significant changes since 2023_04_17 December Totals: Untouched:230 Approved:49 Denied:0 RFE/RFER:33 RFER->Approval:31(incl in Approved) RFER->Denial:0 (incl in Denied) DEC 1-3: Untouched:15 Approved: 2 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 3 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 2 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 2 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:26 Approved: 12 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 8 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 10 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 7 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:41 Approved: 10 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 7 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 9 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 2 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:76 Approved: 13 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 8 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 5 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:72 Approved: 12 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 7 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 5 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0
  12. Monday's report (sorry for the late posting) This includes activity from Friday evening to Monday. I had also asked the script to look back at all cases that reached a final state to see if there were changes There were a few (included at the end of this report) as an example of this was Approved ->Department of State Sent Case to USCIS For Review Unfortunately, there is little activity so it doesn't make sense to post the chart multiple times a week. Trying this new format for M,W, Friday updates and will post the charts when they seem to make sense. Let me know what you think about the details (as delivered). December Totals: Untouched:254 Approved:6 Denied:3 RFE/RFER:5 RFER->Approval:2 (incl in Approved) RFER->Denial:3 (incl in Denied) Included in the totals above: I had also instructed my script to "reevaluate" previously "decided" cases and found the following updates Changes on March 14 2023: 1 Changes on March 15 2023: 1 Changes on March 23 2023: 1 Changes on March 27 2023: 1 Changes on March 29 2023: 2 Changes on April 4 2023: 1 Changes on April 5 2023: 3 Changes on April 10 2023: 1 Changes on April 13 2023: 1 Changes on April 15 2023: 1 Changes on April 17 2023: 13 Changes on April 18 2023: 1
  13. And Finally, End of week Burndown - Which looks at previously untouched cases that were opened this week by USCIS When the USCIS opens a previously untouched case (Expedite Denied, Case Received, Something Updated), This data chart also indicates what they did with it .... unfortunately lots of them are turned into RFEs. 15. Fridays Report (sorry for being a couple hours late) Supposed to be a comparison of activity from Wednesday (12 Apr to today) ... That said, there was a blip at USCIS where many of the 11th and 12th "updates" didn't make it through their system ... Hence they showed up today (even if this was small numbers) Any way, on to the data. 16. The total lack of information and transparency is insane in this whole process.
  17. I am so sick of this process and looking forward to it being complete .... someday. Yet another source of "unspecified" and yet unsurprising delay. They did not answer the general question about what I-129F NOA2 dates they are processing …. so I guess I will have to ask them again. Based on the NVC's own "NVC Timeframes" page: Current case creation time frame: As of 10-Apr-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 31-Mar-23. The Keyword here is "Received" (apparently). My case was approved 29 Mar 2023, Sent AskNVC on 12 Apr and got this reply from them that as of today. The case had not even been "Received" from USCIS and so therefore they have not started processing it. Further (as highlighted in yellow), they are "expecting" cases to take longer to be "Received" then the normal blanket 30 day statement. Not to worry though - If it takes a long time, the embassy "May revalidate" extend the K-1 expiration date.
  18. Wednesday normal report - Tracking changes since Monday. As @Ngillet reported ... a rather brutal few days for cases updates. Hopefully we will see more activity in the coming days. I know it is still a long ways off and may move again - Closer or further who is to say. But as May approached, pay very close attention to the case inquiry date. Currently, May 27, 2023 for case filed on 1 Dec 2021 (towards bottom of page at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/) Changes on April 11 2023: 19 Changes on April 12 2024: 0 Report of significant changes since 2023_04_10 DEC 1-3: Untouched:15 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 5 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:30 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 5 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:56 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 3 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:97 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 2 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:95 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 3 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0
  19. so inefficient ... first ask sent in ... will see what I get if anything
  20. Hoping it stays to a week or 2 for you .... In my scans of RFE, the answers got very depressing ... no order to which were approved in days or took months to approve. It was so depressing in fact that I (outright) deleted the script to process that ....
  21. for both of you. My RFE actually happened on a Monday night (late) and was dated for Tuesday... I live 2 cities over and it took till Friday's mail to receive. I was at the mailbox on Friday and it went back into the mail the same day. Took until end of day the next Tuesday for them to receive. Then ... over 2 weeks of silence ... and approved. Once approved (end of March), silence again while waiting for NVC to "create a case" Expect there will be more ... but even 2 cities away, it isnt fast.
  22. just wait ... more undisclosed waiting time in your near future (said especially since i did am RFE too)
  23. Monday's report. This includes all activity for December only filers (yes, I filtered out the November 2021 and January 2022) from this and organized by week number. I also use the "posted date" in the message to say when things happened. This is why there is some things with an Saturday (4/8), Sunday (4/9) and even Tuesday (4/11) date shown. In looking for the bright side, Notice Dec 20-24 ... in just this (really one) working day, they touched > 10% of the untouched cases. On the even brighter side - so far the Approvals are at least equal to or higher than the RFE count. As September and November was in this state, they were getting mostly RFEs .... so this is a good sign (if even slow) On to the data: Changes on April 8 2023: 5 Changes on April 9 2023: 2 Changes on April 10 2023: 25 Changes on April 11 2023: 1 Report of significant changes since 2023_04_07 DEC 1-3: Untouched:15 Approved: 1 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 0 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:31 Approved: 1 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 1 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 0 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:56 Approved: 4 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 4 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 1 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:99 Approved: 11 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 6 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 3 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:96 Approved: 3 Denied: 0 RFE/RFER: 1 RFER->Denial: 0 RFER->Approval: 2 (Incl. in stats) Updated: 1 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0

Just lots of waiting overall My update script is running and will be posting Monday's report soon
