For ours, we included the DS-3025 was provided by civil surgeon when medical was done with the K-1 Visa .... That said, we are currently in a "case decision step - 3 months to complete" state so maybe it means we might be awaiting another RFE ... Can't say .... Online they show the final page which was signed by the civil doc in Brazil. DS-3025 .... We sent the origional we had from our K1 Visa packet return ... They didn't take it at the boarder so it still had a photo of her... Who knows, if I learn something, happy to share

Minor annoyance ..... California drivers license .... ooph .... I-94 isn't valid long enough so now I have to figure out when we get the EAD as that is the only way to get the RealID. Yes, could get the basic ... but she needs it for traveling.

Mine used to say 2 weeks .... once they processed the Biometrics it jumped to 3 months for EAD and 5 months for AOS

Ugh .... Case for EAD (I-765) went from Taking longer than expected to now .... So looking forward to the break between AOS/EAD/AP and I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions (later) Estimated time until your case decision: 3 Months Current step: Case decision

You can do SSN before the EAD arrival ... only thing is it says not valid for work unless presented with authorization card. I didn't wait as I wanted the SSN so can file taxes (for sure) as married this year.

Received the RFE letter faster than the Bio appointment or the account online access information ... So sent back the RFE ASAP .... but then seeing they didn't do anything with it ... went for the online option

In reviewing Visa Journey details, it does seem that the amount of time for AOS and even if an interview will be required tends to be highly regional. So hope your AOS goes smooth and then you get a break from USCIS. On a side note, be sure to make a folder/bin as we all will have to prove the marriage was real when going for the removal of conditions.

Our group here is way more active than July 2023 or September 2023 filers, and, since some of the same of us are from K1 December Group too ... just goes to show we know where the cool kids hand out. In all seriousness, it looks from what little I see of similar AOS groups that ~2-3 months for EAD and or AOS is common .... Best wishes to all

I got a similarly confusing letter ... if you look online at the documents they scanned, they may have dropped off some of the items. I had also sent in paystubs, letter from employer, tax transcripts, W2s and Birth-cert / passport. None of which was scanned by them and added to the case. Paid to send what they requested by express mail, confirmed (by usps) they got it ... but nothing after 10 days so uploaded a response directly using the online tool.

You should read the site they refer to about "biometrics" .... ooph. It is rather amazing to me that they can schedule an appointment and you are expected to attend at the risk of loosing everything if you fail to appear. They do say you can reschedule BUT it has to be a reason they accept ... ooph I put the appointment on my calander in bold to be sure that we don't miss it

@serret and @grumpypiggy ... is a physical letter they send (slowly) .... Much easier to watch things move slowly once the account is opened.

They took forever to send us the form that looked like the "enter code" part of adding an account ... once you get that form, (has online access 1/3 of the way down on the right) if you are still unclear, send me a email/message and will be glad to help

We mailed both at the same time .... they sent back a notice for the 765 (and 131) saying that the fees were paid (as part of the 485)

Us too ... unfortunatly, the state of Nevada would not give her the married name she wanted so we are also in process of doing a "legal name change" in the state of california .... Court date for the hearing is 11/16 so we get the pleasure of going back and adjusting that (and many other documents) once we have proof of name change. Here is yet another weird one. Registering the wedding at the Consulate for her home country, They required a "recent issued" (within last 6 months) birth certificate to accept the paperwork to register the wedding. This is in part because marital status is tracked on these documents in her home country ... Result: We have had to have a fresh document mailed up from there before we can proceed with this consulate process. lol

It gave quite a list ... once online account access was provides, I think they were overloaded with some of the packet and didn't see the tax returns (that I know we're there) ... oh well, sent back what was asked for and will see

Was waiting on the biometrics letter (still says that status online) and received an RFIE letter instead. Claimed I didn't do something but my folder was complete .... so printed everything again and will be mailing it off tomorrow.
