DECEMBER 2021 1-129F K1 FILERS
mw & rg k1 replied to J&D1008's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
I post regularly about total untouched cases ... grouped by date range. This is also something @grumpypiggy might be able to produce with their script (although I have only ever seen it is an absolute total). Check back for my posts which are issued M,W, & F now for December cases. As for your case range, There are a few November cases in the 24500 case range (I filter these out for the Dec Bar Graphs) There are also a few stray cases for Dec as high as 36800 ... (I try my best to find and include every case there is in Dec) -

I am very careful to mine my data and verify it ..... As well as very careful to provide an accurate analysis of the trends. Ad for confusion and false hope .... only the Government is able to do that with any effectivity. There are WAY, WAY, WAY too many cases past the inquiry date already and a total lack of consistency in the processing at this point to have any way to even estimate anything. Truly horrid. -

If I see your case in my records correctly, you should submit a case inquiry request the morning of 20 Feb 2022 Step 1: Confirm your case receive date here (do not log in or it will likely give you a later date) https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do Then use this date to estimate the processing time and inquiry date. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ The case is not likely to get opened before you reach the date you can make an inquiry (really sad but this is where we are these days) -

I'm not scanning into Jan but from what I can glean from the posted spreadsheet, the decisions were from long ago (just like we had some from months back) are you seeing anyone posting live scan data from Jan 2022? where? if VJ board, I suspect it is a miss read of that spreadsheet -

congrats, now, like me (even though my Dec 15 isn't done and no activity near me), you'll have to scan until Dec 31 inquiry date has passed (and maybe even after that for a bit) -

there is plenty of confusion with regards to receipt date even on USCIS tools. check your case (WITHOUT LOGGING IN) @ https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do this is the date used in my scans. Dec 25th was a holiday and I have no cases that show then or on Saturdays. That said, when you log in, even my case shows a different date then when I don't log in. the non-log in is the data set used by most data miners -

Yes, I consider "Case Received" "Expedite" (which 99.9% is denied) "Updated" (i.e. Name or Address Updated) "Request for Additional Information" as all untouched and therefore "pending" Evidence = RFE (I don't distinguish between RFIE and RFE in this script) Approved = Approved etc. Oh and @GinoNiña, there are never stupid questions ... always better to ask then assume -

As said in my previous post, I am changing my reporting days to M/W/F. Burndown will always be compared with last Friday so you can see progress through the week. So here is the burndown data comparing Monday (13 Feb) as compared to Friday (10 Feb) Analysis: USCIS seems to be increasingly inconsistent as to where they are even processing and if they prefer RFEs or approvals. Keeping in mind this represents one working day and a weekend, 232 as a case count isn't bad. I do feel bad for September as up to 9/16 is now at an inquiry date status. It does seem October and early November is also being left behind at this point. Here are the details Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 232 Week Was Now Delta Approved Denied RFE Earlier 360 355 5 1 0 4 (April and 3x in August) 09/03 52 52 0 0 0 0 09/10 16 16 0 0 0 0 09/17 75 71 4 3 0 1 09/24 69 68 1 0 0 1 10/01 36 36 0 0 0 0 10/08 49 44 5 0 0 4 10/15 118 110 8 2 0 6 10/22 87 87 0 0 0 0 10/29 127 126 1 0 0 1 11/05 191 186 5 1 0 4 11/12 154 151 3 0 0 3 11/19 297 271 26 20 0 5 11/26 264 237 27 19 0 7 12/03 233 199 34 15 0 19 12/10 608 586 22 15 1 6 12/17 675 614 61 35 1 25 12/24 763 734 29 23 0 6 12/31 548 547 1 0 0 0 -

Hello December Data Followers ... There is just too much activity to report only 2x a week so I am changing my current status report to M-W-F (especially since there is considerable RFE activity on Saturday and late updates sometimes on Fridays (after 7PM PST). Weird Burndown's will be compared from Fri-Mon Fri-Wed, and Fri-Fri for those looking to track USCIS Progress even though there seems to be no rhyme or reason at this point Here are the findings today: Total activity including "expedite" & "mailed documents" Changes on February 10 2023: 16 Changes on February 11 2023: 8 Changes on February 12 2023: 1 Changes on February 13 2023: 101 Changes on February 14 2023: 6 (Yes, I know that is technically tomorrow but that is the date USCIS reported on the case) Report of significant changes since 2023_02_10 (Friday) DEC 1-3: Untouched:76 Approved: 3 Denied: 0 RFE: 10 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 6-10: Untouched:586 Approved: 15 Denied: 1 RFE: 6 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 13-17: Untouched:615 Approved: 35 Denied: 1 RFE: 27 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 2 Rejected: 0 DEC 20-24: Untouched:734 Approved: 23 Denied: 0 RFE: 6 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 0 Rejected: 0 DEC 27-31: Untouched:547 Approved: 0 Denied: 0 RFE: 1 Updated: 0 Term\Withdrawn: 1 Rejected: 0 -

Do include anything they asked for on the I-129F and anything related to what they asked for on the I-130 that could be even slightly related to an I-129F ... I would explain what you submit in the cover letter with an statement that you hope this meets with their documentation expectations for a speedy approval -

Take a look at my recent posts ... I even described how the processing has seemed to go from orderly to a bit wonky recently. As a Dec 15th, I have NO IDEA when or even if my case will be opened let alone if it is an RFE. In the July board, as of last Friday, there were still 52 totally untouched cases (outside normal processing time) In the August board, as of last Friday, there were still 122 totally untouched cases (outside normal processing time) By the end of next week, there will be > 100 September cases eligible for case inquire outside normal processing time. in the next few weeks, I expect that to grow to > 200 for September filers .... (totally sick) Hate to say it but USCIS seems like they will need to further extend the "case processing time" soon ... or .... I don't know what else they are able to do. I remain hopeful that my case gets processed soon .... BUT also preparing to watch the inquiry date to submit a request the first day I am permitted. -

On page 18, you will see the comparative scan I do from Tue to Friday ... with tools down most scans don't work I know some of you prefer the tranche style data so I could back annotate my data if people want ... won't be exactly the same format but would give some tranche statistics if page 18 post isn't good enough. in short though USCIS isn't going by date or by case range anymore so there is less and less predictability when anything happens -

Lyssa, I haven't posted on this board for some time as there is little activity as you can see with @Kiana & Katarina's scans. IF YOU HAVEN"T RECEIVED SOMETHING (NOA2, RFE, SOMETHING) from USCIS I strongly suggest you regularly monitor the case inquiry date and prepare to submit one the first day you can https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ (towards the bottom of the page after checking the normal processing times) Note: If they further bump the normal case processing time you may have to wait even longer so get it done as soon as they allow you to do so. I do see some cases still processing in September with my general scans but the week of 9/3 has basically ground to a halt (52 Cases untouched) and a over 200 cases completely untouched cases for September ... That is right ... over 200 untouched still in September. October does have some unopened cases still being worked on ... but the story is not good. (see the attached graphic) Moral of the story, if you don't hear something, be ready to submit the inquiry the first day you are permitted. -

But I just ran a mini scan and found a few new Request for Initial Evidences today for case All of these (and I know of at least one that sent in an inquiry) are past and allowed to send in an inquiry. One other graphic for you This dates back to 10/29 when I did my first seed run for this script .... Didn't have delta data yet so only case count on 10/29. For this, notice the rough digital shape. To the left of the vertical rise, very few cases remaining, to the right of the vertical rise, a noisy but rather consistant untouched case count. the rise itself is sharp showing that they are processing cases in near progression taking them from many 100's of cases and down to 10's of cases. Now compare that with the 11/12 from the previous post which confirms this "digital" process next in line to the new 02/10 previous post where it is no longer "next in line" processing but spread wide. -

The short answer is yes. For a longer answer, When I first started my scans, (pardon the scaling difference in terms of weeks for the attached charts - I save only the image once it is complete.) You will notice that the focus month was quite a bit narrower, more focused, and not a huge number of cases left behind. The peak had a near histogram like shape processing an nearly equal number of cases before and after the peak with a span of about 5 weeks (2-2.5 weeks to either side of the peak) yes, a few cases were left behind but this was in the low 10s of cases and even the peak of these was worked on (7/30 week in the 11/12 image below) Over time, the shape widened dramatically occasionally even showing a bi-modal distribution periodically. the span increased to ~8.5 weeks dramatically up from 5 weeks as shown in the first graphic. BUT there was at-least some trailing activity to bring the "behind the wave" cases into the 10's counts Refer to this 11/23 scan image below. Now, the histogram (single or bi-modal has disappeared with a sloping trailing edge. The total span increases again to ~11 weeks and the trailing case counts (after the peak are in the 100's and even high 10's in count rather than few 10's as seen above in both previous graphics. Many weeks back from the peak, there are still low 100's of completely untouched cases with minor (10's of cases being processed) or even no processing even though there are still significant number of cases as shown in my last detailed in my report (and as shown in this 2/10 scan) -

Reporting on previously untouched cases. There are two very disturbing threads that are seeming to be getting worse. Trend 1 - The quantity of cases behind the crest of the wave has been seeming to get worse Trend 2 - The quantity of RFEs has increased dramatically While 984 untouched cases was opened this week, 30% (293) received RFE My script considers this the case being touched / opened so I don't track details further (except for Dec) Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 984 Week Was Now Delta Approved Denied RFE 09/03 56 52 4 2 0 2 09/10 34 16 18 11 0 7 09/17 105 75 30 26 0 4 09/24 73 69 4 3 0 1 10/01 46 36 10 4 1 4 10/08 68 49 19 9 0 6 10/15 158 118 40 33 0 7 10/22 125 87 38 23 1 13 10/29 156 127 29 22 0 6 11/05 262 191 71 44 0 27 11/12 236 154 82 53 0 29 11/19 411 297 114 93 0 21 11/26 410 264 146 92 0 52 12/03 450 233 217 161 1 52 12/10 683 608 75 58 1 16 12/17 738 677 61 26 0 35 12/24 768 763 5 4 0 1 12/31 549 549 0 0 0 0 -

Thank you @grumpypiggy for finding and sharing this with the group. I think it confirms what I had been reporting in the burndown graphs and the amazing increase in processing case count this Jan until now. I just hope it continues -
